"Seek the key" means to find the key to the portal and " Fear the lock" is for Luz as she have promise her mom that when she returns, she have to stay in the human realm.

It could also be referring to how King wants to find out what he is, and his nature as a Titan ends up being how The Collector is released. The search for the Titan’s Blood in Eclipse Lake could also be “seeking the key”. So the key would be King’s Heritage/Titan’s Blood, and the lock is The Collector’s imprisonment disc. And as we’ve seen there is good reason to fear what the lock is containing.

The owls eyes lit up as he realized that Hooty was the only bird that could feel what it felt. I know why it's "Seek the key fear the lock" so, basically season 2 was almost all about the day of unity and what it was. Luz and her friends (not including the c.a.t.s. because they technically knew already) wanted to know what it was about which was seeking the key. When the day of unity is finally happening the c.a.t.s. start their plan with Eda, but belos knows what's happening,nso their plan fails and the rest of the coven heads realize they aren't getting paradise they are getting death. So basically Seek the key is finding what the day of unity stands for and fear the lock is what it actually is. Some flaws but I feel like my brain did good. And sense you read it all have a cookie 🍪, ANNDDD YOU who didn't read and skipped to the end of the comment you better read to deserve that cookie or you get BROCCOLI 🥦 Behave children buh bye
