Zehnder's Restaurant, Frankenmuth Michigan! Going in for the Famous Chicken Dinner, family style!

Last time I ate at Zehnders last April 2024 their chicken 🍗 pieces was too small for they had rushed their Chickens to the Food processing Plantto soon and they did not let their chickens 🐓 grow big enough. Next time it is the Bavarian inn across the street for the Bavarian Inn,s chicken pieces is just the right size for Me .

It is expensive, so the food needs to be top notch. We enjoyed it, we loved the corn bread breading on the chicken and thought they stayed authentic to some good German food. Definitely not a place you eat at a lot. I guess to each there own😊 thanks for your feedback!

If you join the free rewards program, you get a chicken dinner free during your birthday month. Me, my husband, my mom, and my oldest son are all October birthdays so we all went and ate for free, only having to pay for our youngest son and drinks. Also, I think we had fhe same waiter. He was awesome!

Yes! We love Teible’s it goes way back with us! My mom and dad went there when they were dating back in the day😊 and it’s been a tradition to go on there wedding anniversary ever since. We live in the Valparaiso in area though.

Yeah it could get pretty expensive for a bigger party! It was around $300 The food we thought was good and it was a fun family experience to try German food! Not something we would do a lot but was worth it for the experience. I guess it’s to each own preference, if you want to spend the money on this style of food and atmosphere. Thanks for commenting!

We went there about five years ago- they brag about their chicken- what a total let down- had no flavor just crispy grease

Aww man, we liked the chicken, it was unique with the cornbread breading. I’ve heard a balance of mixed reviews that’s good and bad about the food. It is expensive so if you don’t like it, it would be a bummer.
