I enjoyed your presentation of the camera and being able to view your sample B&W images, as well.

I just got this exact camera for Christmas. I'm excited to see what I can do with a photo in a "not so digital" dark room

Have one myself, as a gift from the previous owner of my house. It’s built like a tank!

I use the 115mm supplementary lens on this camera, with lens shade. A hefty, solid piece of kit, giving contrasty results with black and white film. Used to stare with wonder at these masterpieces in camera shop windows in the 50's.

I just won an auction lot with once of these and it works perfectly, already shot a couple rolls in it. Really like the ergonomics.

I have just inherited one of those from my late uncle.. immaculate condition. I wonder if there's any way I can tell the year it was built.

They made four different models in four years, is the meter in the same place as this one?

Any idea of who can make repairs on this camera? I purchased on a few months ago. Tested it and it worked fine. One month later the film advance quit. Aside from that the camera appears to be in great shape.

I got one of these last year for 40 sterling on ebay -- just put a roll in today -- took a while to figure out how to use the meter but I have it now !

Hello, I've been trying to investigate the worth/value of this camera. I inherited it from my grandfather and would like to give it maintanence. Someone tried to buy it from me, but aside from the fact that it has sentimental value to me, I'm not sure what this kind of camera is worth. I have it on display on my room, alongside my other vintage and work cameras. It's in great condition, has it's original brown leather case with a Carl Zeiss Nr 26800 Tessar f | 2.8 50 mm lens. I would appreciate the information if anyone knows!

These are super cameras, well made in the early 1960's, they were expensive. I think they are currently undervalued, prices on ebay range from £20 to £80, you will see some priced between £100 - £200 but they are not selling at these prices. £60 would be a good price for a working camera. My camera was given to me by a family friend and I can understand the sentimental value. They do take super photos! Thanks for watching!

@@beforedigital Wow, really undervalued. Thanks for the information and your video, it helped me a lot! I will keep it :)

@@sr_ian Due to the quirky lens design and operation it will never be worth a lot like a leica or nikon -- keep it and run a few rolls a year and enjoy !

@@sr_ian I just shot a roll with mine and quite a few exposures did not come out == I suspect leaf shutter malfunction -- hopefully you have better luck
