I just ordered Zeiss SmartLife Pure Lenses for my progressive prescription today with Duravision platinum coatings. They were $710 before insurance reimbursement at my local optical store. I should have them in about 10 days (I did not leave my frames). I probably should have looked this up BEFORE placing my order but I knew Zeiss was a good brand.

Hi and thank you for letting us know. Prices for ZEISS lenses vary widely, but they are a premium brand. The good news is that most vision insurance providers do cover ZEISS lenses. We hope you love them!

I'm looking to replace my prescription lenses. I just had an eye exam and I'm getting progressive lenses. I want to get Zeiss real glass lenses. Today, my optometrist said that Zeiss progressive glasses lenses, with my mild prescription will cost $1400. This seems outrageously expensive. Zeiss SmartLife High Index 1.67 polycarbonate lenses are $1100. Am I messing something? Am I being ripped off?

Hi and thank you for your question. The final retail price is established by the individual Eye Care Professional and takes into consideration the prescription, type of frame, lens design, lens coatings, and other considerations such as special fitting requirements. If you have vision insurance this will often offset the cost of eyeglasses, including ZEISS lenses.

@@ZEISSVisionUSA Thank you. The price quoted for lenses is obscene. I was quoted this price without the opticians knowing the frame, lens design, coatings, nor any special fitting requirements. This was a generic price.

hello, what is the difference between zeiss smartlife evo and zeiss smartlife?. I find that Zeiss has a lot of references. it's not easy for the customer to find themselves
