Zeitraffer Polarlicht Supersturm Deutschland - Fehmarn 10./11. Mai 2024

Nachdem sämtliche Prognosen auf einen Supersturm hin deuteten, machte ich mich am 10.05. auf den Weg nach Fehmarn, da dort die Wetterprognose am Besten war. Ich kam dort gegen 23:40 Uhr an und wurde nicht enttäuscht, denn ein Polarlichtband zog direkt über meinen Kopf hinweg. Rote Farben waren deutlich mit dem bloßem Auge zu erkennen, das Band selbst sah aus, wie eine erleuchtetes Wolkenband, welches sich über den kompletten Himmel zog. Dies ist tatsächlich die erste Polarlicht Corona, die ich in Deutschland gesehen habe. Dieses Video gibt einen Eindruck der intensiven Farben des Polarlichtes in dieser Nacht. Aufnahmerichtung war Osten.
After all the forecasts pointed to a superstorm, I made my way to Fehmarn on May 10, as the weather forecast was best there. I arrived there at around 11:40 pm and was not disappointed, as a band of aurora borealis passed directly over my head. Red colors were clearly visible to the naked eye, the band itself looked like an illuminated band of clouds stretching across the entire sky. This is actually the first aurora corona I have seen in Germany. This video shows the amazing colours of the aurora that night. Pictures were taken in easterly directions.
