This wasn't even my best pull, but there's a ton of stuff you have to watch out for. I wasn't able to cheese the fight with FD, so I had to kill the spider adds... tough work! I made sure to time my CDs and trinket for burst when I needed it. But for now... LET ME SOLO HIM! For me, since I'll be doing both M+ and raiding, I'll be rushing my P.0.W x2 with Darkmoon Sigil Vivacity and then building my Dawnthread Lining Bracers after that. All items that are crafted will be crafted with Critical Strike and Mastery. My goal is to keep 8% haste (or 5200 haste) on my character at all times. Very impressive! watched you video in the morning and convinced me to try myself. Just got it done as a survival hunter with packmaster. So i'm extra impressed you were able to do it as MM as I believe it is much tougher. (You can easily kill eggs as survival without needing to use queen's mandate (which i also have but it was rarely necessary.) I believe the important part to do is to have amorphous relic and make sure you get enlarge for the extra 20% hp + 12% damage otherwise the incoming damage can spike too high and end you.

First off, congratulations! That's a great call out, the relic is really huge in this fight. The dude has hands, that's for sure. You're also right that Mandate isn't a requirement, but it did help tremendously, when executing the target. Not being able to stop and cast Aimed Shot definitely hurts your damage in this fight, but I found that DR was a huge boost to my QoL during the encounter. Looking forward to what season 2 has in-store for us Delves wise!

Well I did this as 613 MM hunter but wiped many times, I watched and your Bran Healer dispels that debuff EVERY time, mine does not and that debuff is what kills me over time because it does insane amount of damage. Rest of the fight beside that debuff as a hunter is a joke for myself.

Do you have high versatility? My 607 ret paladin can do damage on this fight but my problem is he also does a lot of melee damage on me that even Brann's heals could not overcome in the long run.

I'm no longer a Ret main, but WoG would be huge on this fight I would guess. I have 7% versatility I believe in this video. That's more than I've had all xpac long, but that's only lowering the damage I take by 3.5%. I had to roll my CDs in this fight and slowly use the vials Brann provides. After you get into P2, Zekvir has a lot more channel abilities, which lowers the amount time he has to just beat on you. I guess if I really wanted to minmax survivability as a MM for this fight, I could drop all my mastery for versatility, but even then, that wouldn't add too much survivability. There were pulls were he would just crit, crit me and that would be it. I hope you can get it down!

how do you deal with 2 casts? I'm able to interrupt only 1. Then it heals or I get debuff. Silence arrow is not up 100% of time, so can't rely on it. Or can?

You want to interrupt the heal and let the other cast go through, the slowing dot. You can remove the dot with disengage thanks to post haste.

Finished this fight on my WW monk right now, im sorry but this is way harder as meele to do, when the egg spawns the boss moves right on it and you have to leave meele range multiple times because of fear and frontal. absolute madness.

I wouldn't know, I only play MM hunter. There's some pretty rough overlaps, and having that on top of the target would be hard, without a doubt. The trinket that I used helped with the eggs as well. If they can kill it, you get half the cd back.

Ugh, it’s so frustrating to see a class perform basically the same as mine DPS-wise, but fare infinitely better because their kit includes so much CC and mobility it trivializes the truly tough aspects of this fight.

I really didn't use any CC until the very, very end of the fight when I used ice trap. Post Haste is great to dispels the slow, but a lot of classes can do that as well. The key to this fight is the ability cadence. I usually knew what was next ability wise and it helped me to be ready for it. Having a higher level Brann helps as well, since his healing vials get stronger the higher level he is. This was actually one of my lower dps pulls, I just was able to survive the last cocoon that kept getting me before. *I edited because I hit enter by mistake. I hate answering comments from the Studio App 🤣

@@MrEggplant it should be easier now after the hotfix, but before it was effectively impossible for my Lock main. We get one interrupt (Axe Toss) and one snare removal tool (Demonic Circle: Teleport), both on 30 sec CDs. There was just no way to reliably counter both spit and heals. I’ll have to see what Zekvir’s ability usage looks like now after the hotfix. If it’s once every 30 seconds, I might stand a chance!

The interrupt shouldn’t matter so much anymore after the hotfix but that 10 second difference between Demonic Circle and Disengage can be lifesaving (not to mention a hunter gets to choose where they Disengage to, while a warlock has to hope that Zekvir isn’t about to do an ability where the portal is). Edit: I want to make sure to recognize the skill in the video. I don’t mean to say that I think the fight would be a breeze as a Hunter, just that as a Warlock I very much feel like a turret, so highly mobile fights are already a pretty big drag on my DPS even before considering my utility restrictions (Hunter still has Countershot if their pet dies).

@nickdude114114 he got knocked out during my run too, it's not completely gg yet if that happens. Having cavedweller potions can help as well, as they don't share a cd with your healing pots. You can always turtle and resurrect him, but that can be a little difficult if you get a spine underneath you.

@fenriryggdrasil5584 that can happen. I had pulls that I got hit twice and died. You have to roll your survival of the fittest early on. After the first cocoon, and in p2, Zek'vir starts using more abilities, which is less white hits you have to deal with.

@fenriryggdrasil5584 if you're playing a hunter, you can use post Haste and disengage to get rid of the slow spittle dot. That saves a ton of damage, then you simply use your interrupt on the heal. I would save lust for either a cocoon or p2, but that's just me.

@@MrEggplant The only thing I don't have is as much vers as you do. Idk if you went in with any other buffs. I set Brann the same, and my build is really similar. I do fuck up sometimes when he does the aoe fear and I run away while a cocoon is up, because during that tine he doesn't chase you, so when he does the conal I can't escape. But the majority of my deaths is when I'm below 70% and he crits. I haven't even hit phase 2, yet. It's really triggering. I'll just have to keep trying...

We do 50% more damage with our Aimed Shot when the target is above 70% health thanks to Careful Aim and this build prioritizes rapid fire and aimed shot, so that really helps out. Dark Ranger also increases the damage of those abilities by 20%. If I wasn't saving my Black Arrow for the adds, we'd do more damage to the boss too. How are you progressing on the fight so far? He usually hits me 2 or 3 times before he starts casting his various abilities. Sometimes he would just crit me twice and I'd die. I started using one of my defensives right away and it was helping. A lot of the time when I got away from him it was when he stopped to cast one of those abilities. In P2, he casts more abilities, which is less time he's hitting you in the face.

Yeah I turn my pets growl off, so he's just for leech and my lust. You will get hit by the boss... a lot. But we have some good defensives to help with that and Brann's healing vials are clutch.

I am really confused by this video. The moment I pull the boss, it starts to beat the living shit out of me. While in your try he rarely goes meele. At first I suspected it was a matter of keeping the range but no, in your try the boss seems to act completely different.

@alphadelta4314 some pulls he would obliterate me. Crit me for 5M type stuff, usually it was because he hit me in the back. He has a pretty small melee range, but he also has so many abilities that give you time to get space and space out his white hits. Trust me, I felt his hands lol. I tried several different techniques, including using concussive shot, but I opted to just run around in circles. I tried to time my CDs to help with the adds and he, at least in the first phase, has the same cadence of abilities, so you know what's next. I'm not sure how I did anything different to get him to not hit me as much.

Yup I tried as BM it sucked. Even if I open with black arrow kill shot, soon my pet would die. MM is also hard because you need to be stationary to aim shot which can cause an egg pop. SV is by far the easiest for this.

I have BM friends that have done this encounter and what they did was not use any of your beast attack abilities initially. Just use cobra, barbed, Black Arrow etc until you build up aggro and then it's done after that. I don't personally play BM, so I don't have any other specifics to share 😬 I hope you can get him taken down!

607 ilvl MM hunter here. The pet dies to a single auto attack, your better off with the taunt off or with no pet at all than with pet taunt on.

Just like what everyone said, the pet would instantly die. So I use it for the leech and lust for P2. I would do a little bit more damage without one, but those 2 things mentioned alone are worth the 2% less damage.
