Zelda BotW - Calamity Ganon Fight with 3 Hearts (No Divine Beasts, No Yellow Hearts)

This was a lot of fun!! It took around 5-8 hours of attempts total (just a guess SDLKFJSDK) across 2 days!
The main challenge for me was having to parrying Calamity Ganon's lasers, if you miss a parry and it hits you, it instantly kills you and you have to restart the entire fight, including all of the blight Ganon's ;v; I practiced a bit and got good with parries, and became able to consistently land them! Once I did that, it only took a few more attempts to beat this challenge!
As you can see, almost everything I had was achieved very early in the game, and I went to Hyrule Castle to fight Ganon after only 3-ish hours of playtime! That's why I don't have the Master Sword, increased inventory, etc, and it was a lot more challenging and fun doing it this way!!

Depends on your definition my friend. Dark souls players would say you are not necessarily great, but also you have to understand that these types of gamers are a small percentile of the actual gamer fanbase. For what you do, you probably are above average to even pretty good just remember some people sink MONTHS and YEARS ibto these games as well as Numerous mental breakdown in order to attain these skills. And this is typically across multiple games and multiple years. Dont beat yourself up, we all started out frewking out how to aim and what button is to shoot

I just did a three hearts play on master mode. What helped me a lot was climbing the ledge before hand, and setting a campfire on the top and on the ground. 8 logs total. Then everytime they teleport you to the ground after a fight, I hop back up. If you have a good bow and a bunch of ancient arrows, it’s pretty easy until thunder blight. Useful effect is anti thunder/lightning effect from food. Even then, just uh..... try your best? Idk 🤷 but I did it after a few attempts. There’s one trick that works for me, is sword spin with a two handed weapon, while his teleport strike happens and you might catch him, and break his shield. Believe me....you’ll want to have about 5-6 Guardian Shields, cause ganon recharges like a mad man. I probably took him down to 1 hit away several times if not more. And getting him there was even worst! His constant shield makes it annoying to say the least. But you can sneak an arrow in while he does his stupid baby claw grab that seemingly does nothing. After that DBG I didn’t know I could die, and then it reloaded on DBG and I was very very happy. Easy win *As my heart was racing for like 15 minutes straight

During second phase, when he’s disabled, hit him 3 times and jump cancel before you stasis, then keep striking until he re-shields, you end up smacking his beard hehe. He do be recharging and climbing like a little baby though.

Calamity Ganon is my favourite boss fight in video games. I went into BOTW after playing Dark Souls and gaining an appreciation for difficult boss fights. Calamity Ganon has a wonderful mix of challenge, surprise, if you didn't get spoiled on how he looks, and spectacle, the entire game built up to this fight and it shows. If only Dark Souls put it's most difficult boss at the end..

I went Lynel gear farming and had 5 savage Lynel swords and shields, and 3 5 shot savage Lynel bows. I also saved up 30 ancient arrows I bought from Robbie. I didn't use a single arrow in the end. Lol.

I tried this (3 heart/No Divine Beasts/No Yellow Hearts) but ran out of swords by Fireblight Ganon, even after unlocking extended inventory and glitching myself the Master Sword. I think I can reattempt if I stock up on ancient arrows and better swords.

hey a good strat i used is when ganon swung the fire sword and all the wind fries up to put it out if you jump and pull out your paraglider it will catch the wind and youll fly up

haha yes. Ive been speedrunning this for like 1 month now. I have made good progess everywhere exepct BTB to bombs and the blight fights. The WR by rasen runs for the blights is very fast

i swear perfect parry timing is bs on emulator. I've never seen timing window so small in any action games. it's not even traditional 0.5 sec window but like 0.1 sec unless yuzu is messing up the timing. laser parry timing is different depending on how far away you are and it does not go by visual cue or sound either. I only tried it on 30fps but maybe it would be better on 60fps. who knows.

Last time in the divine beasts I took a picture of windblight ganon,fireblight ganon,waterblight ganon,and thunderblight ganon u can take a picture of them to :D But thunderblight ganon u have to hit thunderblight ganon with 1 handed sword and get camera rune and view it later While fighting waterblight ganon in divine beast vah ruta reflect the spear that waterblight ganon throws And u can take a picture of a senty on the mountain where vah rudaian sent senty's the spotlight things and its that first one u want to take a picture of u already know picture rune and get it Fighting fireblight ganon in divine beast vah rudaian reflect the fire ball that fireblight ganon throws works in hyrule castle while fighting calamity ganon
