I dunno, Orkle was already grinding with 72 as his goal. It's certainly a beatable run, it had great RNG but he definitely made a few mistakes where you could pick up some time. Not a MASSIVE amount of time, but definitely 10+ seconds, the Dark Link fight alone has a few seconds. Orkle is certainly going to try.

Wow. First 4 minutes and already some of the movements you’re pulling off are insane. Hitting that key and the hammer bro in the same swing was incredible. Also, I beat-beat Ghosts n’ Goblins recently and it’s the first time I’ve had to use the grip style you’re using. It took a little time to get used to but it legit works really well for attacking very fast while jumping. Feels odd but damn it works. CONGRATULATIONS! What an epic achievement. Absolutely crazy.

Our game is so broken, I just go to the third palace as quickly as possible and keep fighting the statue at the front until I’m maxed out. After that every 9000 points is another one up.

I remember when we were just thinking it was a fun grind for 75, then 74. With each PB jay cee felt the run still had too many mistakes that he could fix. All the way to WR. Insane.

I would like to know what the gamer designers/developers/coders etc. would have thought if they saw someone play their game this fast around the time the game was released. Yea, I played this on my NES maybe 35 years ago. I actually beat it, I believe I got help finding some of the secrets from friends, or perhaps the Nintendo magazine one could buy in the stores. It could be that I beat the game in 1 year, 12 weeks and 56 hours 😅
