the thing what is Wrong here is Tears and Breath they taking place after all other Timelines as Links and Zeldas Decedandes foundend hyrule and moe , after the events of Skyward sword the Rito did not exited yet as the Rito are evoveld from Zora after the Godesses Floddwed hyrule the canon timeline goes like this Skyward sword Minish cap Four Swords Orcarina of Time Timeline split No Hero Timeline A link to the Past Oroacle of Ages &Season Links Awakening The Orginal Legend of Zelda Links Adventure the Child Timeline Majoras Mask Twilight Princess Four Swords & Hyrule Adventure Adult Era Wind Waker Phantom Hourglass Spirit tracks after all these we can only Theorize with my believe Hyrule Warriors was the game what reunified the Seperate Timelines here the we can say the following happend Age of Calamity Breath of the Wild Tears of the kingdom

The video you watched isn’t that great for someone new to all these concepts. The video you watched would be better suited for someone who has played most of the games and wants it all tied together by a theorist. The lore in the Zelda games isn’t important like the lore in Souls games, as in its more flavor text than anything. There are themes, characters, places, and tropes that most stories subscribe to or utilize, but pretty much every game is its own contained story. Some games do lead to other games by way of narrative, and some of the games explain unique concepts that recontextualize other parts of the franchise, but the lore isn’t that important. The reason people talk about it so much with Breath of the Wild is because that’s the first game that’s an open world, and they decided to fill that world with a bunch of really clever and charming easter eggs, references, and call backs from a large amount of the previous games in the franchise. The lore in BotW feels so much more interesting and real when you stumble upon something that’s only vaguely familiar, like something you remember from a dream. That’s the effect BotW had on many Zelda fans. Tears of the Kingdom was spoiled by the video you watched but the lore in that game is so poorly handled, it might as well not be canon. Not because there isn’t any development, but because it’s the most vague, lazy writing they’ve ever provided. Fun game tho.
