Yes. I agree. I don’t let people see my Spotify account because most everything I listen to on there is video game instrumental music. I don’t want people to know how much of a geek I am. There are some amazing arrangements from people out there in the video game genre.

The music in todays games aren't on the same level. But what blows me away is how in the old NES days the achieved so much with so little. But NES company knew what there were doing hiring a top notch composers to do the music for there games. Music is huge! It's sets the mood & if done correctly can completely immerse in another world. But anyways I couldn't agree with you more

This is just an absolute masterpiece. This brought tears to my eyes because the legend of Zelda series was an escape for me from an abusive childhood and abusive father. So I always found peace and comfort in the music. Now fast forward and being a father of my own, I was playing this video and my daughters came and sat with me and asked what song is this from because it sounds peaceful and it just made me tear up because I’m now getting to share one of the best things of my childhood with my own children.

We were so spoiled as kids to be able to play a game as incredible as Ocarina of Time, with such timeless pieces as these. Now that I'm older, I can truly appreciate the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of each of these pieces, Koji Kondo truly is a master composer.

Koji is so critical in just how amazing these games were. My dad who bought me n64 and this sole game alone for a Christmas when I was 5 years old was absolutely stunned by the music of the loading screen and the lobby! Only game he would watch me play. Rip pops

TL:DR This game is my childhood, it's amazing. Y'all did so well playing it too! Captured it perfectly, made me cry ❤ I may not have been alive when Ocarina of Time came out, but my grandparents had a 64 at their house, so me and my brother played this game and others all the time. I remember being little and playing the kokiri forest over and over again, or only beating the deku tree and never getting the other spiritial stones. I'd always have fun running around and talking to people, killing things, rolling around, etc. I remember taking a kitchen chair into my mamaws bedroom and propping a nintendo 3ds on it so that I could record myself playing the game on her small tv by her window. I'd get on my mamaws save file too, where she about had the game beat, changing back from adult link to kid link and just being amazed. I borrowed the n64 not long ago and played Ocarina of Time again and beat it, my brother watched and we had a great time. I know BOTW and TOTK are great and all, but I don't think they could ever beat this game for me. Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past, those are my two. Just hearing the music, you can see in your head certain places in the game so vividly, and how the camera limited your perspective. at around 11:11 I can see a few of the shops, a red potion specifically for some reason as it spins when you have it selected. This game is my childhood, I have so many good memories of it, the music is enough to get emotional. It's such a big part of my childhood, and so many others, it's a classic.

Nostalgia aside, this is a fantastically C L E A N recording. The clarity of tone, accuracy of playing whilst remaining genuinely expressive, it's just... so good. It's clearly not the result of fancy equipment, but rather hard work and dedication to master all of these pieces, not as seperate artists but as a duo. This vid really gets some big tri-force energy in the final 'Zelda' theme as you take turns on the lead melody, showcasing your individual and collective talents and passion. Bravo, and Thank-you
