Our dad got the N64 for my sister and me in '98 as well. Some weeks later, he took us to get one or two more games, one of which was OoT. My sister never took to it, but I still love the game to this day. I'm 34 now and have an almost 5 year old son myself. Recently, I began telling him stories from the game. I'm really looking forward to letting him play the game, once he's old enough.

I'm 30 years old. And this whole game franchise is amazing hits home and even sometimes brings a tear to my eye. It's insane how much these games hold special memories in our minds and the music truly makes the memories come back even harder. How times have changed now we are here witnessing a war that should've never even happened. Wondering if our human existence will be wiped out cause of our wars and conflicts. And ironicly the music makes me feel happiness but also beware of an impending doom. Man I'm rambling yall stay safe and blessed

I think that's because, as the player, we got to participate in the music with the ocarina. It's an essential part of the game, so it became part of us as well. This soundtrack is pure magic.
@ViktorOlv
@ViktorOlv Жыл бұрын
I think that one thing that makes the ocarina of time being "different" is the fact that the Temples OST makes you feel that you're really in a place that isn't commonly visited, a feeling that is abandoned, a cursed place or just mystic, surely is a game that makes you feel the place by just hearing the music of this place, funny.

Botw is one of my favorite games of all time, but it never came close to ocarina of time. The music alone is just so incredible. I really missed this in botw. Every single track from oot is just so unique and recognizable but they are all so absolutely awesome. I didnt expect to go through the emotions i feel now while listening to the music, when i clicked on the video. Those were better days. I really miss this, but i'm damn glad i had these years in my life. I love this game so much

It’s such a bittersweet, surreal feeling listening to these songs as I’ve grown older. I close my eyes and I remember sitting on the floor in my old bedroom, my older cousin helping me beat the water dungeon, the hundreds of times stepping into kakariko village (whoms song I listen to as I write this). This warm, nostalgic feeling, slowly replaced with the sad realization it’s all gone, ended by trying to embrace the fact I will always have these memories. But my biggest fear is they will be gone when I say my goodbyes, I’ve heavily abused drugs for the last 6 years of my life and even though I’m only 20 years old, I feel my memories slowly fading away. I truly have no one to blame but myself, but talking about it here where almost nobody will read it makes me feel a lil better. Too anybody hear who may be going through the same thing, just know you’re not alone, I sit alone here at 3:05 AM crying with you.

I love this soundtrack because this game was so important for me. I played in 2011 when I was a girl of eleven years old and my fathers didn't want to buy me "Skyward Sword" then to buy the Wii for Christmas so I had to download a n64 emulator for play Zelda games and OOT was the "first" and the best for me 😂 I remember that I was in first of High School in Spain and I was suffering bullying, so when I discovered this game I had a Easter holiday very relaxed. So when I listen every sound, I remember how to happy I was two weeks of my life and it's incredible how something that have a lot of years could make me feel so okay(:

This game’s sound font just has a certain feel to it (Majora’s Mask also) I can’t really describe it. It’s very nostalgic, but also sad and eerie sometimes. I feel like no other Zelda games or video games in general have this feel to their music. Also, the title theme and the Spirit Temple theme are probably my favorites

I keep listening to it over an over, and it just doesn't get any worse. In a way, it gets better because it's getting me into the LOZ mood, so I'm gonna play the game again. And the thing is, I want to be in the LOZ mood, cause I want to play the game, but I usually need to be in the mood for whatever game I want to play. A great many thanks to EXTREME KZbin Gaming Channel for putting this soundtrack together.
