Zelda: OOT "Fairy Flying" Piano Arrangement

So, I'm thinking about making a small album of impressionist-inspired piano arrangements of music from Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. The goal would be to take the rather non-melodic, atmospheric motifs of several OST tracks and develop them into musical pieces that tell a stand-alone story.
If such an album ever materializes, this will be the first (or perhaps second) track. It's a brief, brisk arrangement of the "Fairy Flying" theme, mostly influenced by Debussy but also by Chopin's preludes.
This wrote itself in a couple hours, which is extremely fast for me, even for such a brief piece. I still don't love some of the transitions, and on the final album the performance would be more polished.

goodness that was incredible! what an excellent idea about making a whole album like this - it's sure to be a winner - esp if you manage to rustle up sheets to go along with it - heck, it's be like an official. but totally unofficial PC ;) btw, LoZOoT is one of my fave OSTs - so much good source material there for you to work with and from - heck, i love the sound of large ambitious projects like this! p.s maybe OCRemix would even release it???

@daigoro789 Thanks! Yeah, lots of great material in the OoT soundtrack, some of which already has impressionist leanings. Actually, it's not one of my favorite soundtracks to listen to on its own (!blasphemy!), but it complemented the gameplay and settings perfectly. For example, the music to the Forest Temple isn't particularly interesting on its own, but was a major contributor to the feeling that "OMG this is the best game I've ever played" because of the incredible atmosphere it created.

@8Amaterasu8 Ha, it definitely wouldn't be for sale, probably illegal anyway. :-) But I appreciate the sentiment. P.S. I'm considering the possibility of small ensembles as well, such as (for example) piano + violin and/or flute. ;-) But we'll see.

I think I'm left quite stunned by the fact that this amazing piece of music was written in a couple of hours, and I'd really really love to see a whole album based on such a concept! (And you're being way too humble by claiming "this wrote itself" hahaha)
