Zelda's Adventure - Game Boy (2023)

I'm guessing that 2023 is the right year, but to be honest, I didn't want to research this much more after actually playing it. It's a very doable, neat idea that just doesn't work for a multitude of reasons. It's a proof of concept, nothing more.
You can certainly grab this off of itch.io and, considering the world map, I imagine this is fully playble. It's just...not actually playable. Save often becaause this game will crash often. It also seemed hell bent on carrying over every flaw of the CD-I game without any regard for the reasons why anyone would be interested in a GB version of this to begin with.
I applaud the effort and I recognize that GBStudio probably caused a lot of these issues. It's just a total shame to put in this much effort and not see it through to the end.

My opinion of thiis wasn't that great. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to ever complain this exists and respect to the effort. It's just so frustratingly incomplete that I can't call it better. So that's why I capped might. =) Have you played this through yourself yet? I couldn't get it to go long enough without it crashing, so I'm curious what the rest looks like.

Yeah this was NOT made in 1994 lol The convention on these playlists is the year the game was first released on that platform.

KZbin has a "directory" of games that doesn't consider different versions of the same game to be individual games unless there is a big enough difference. Further, it doesn't include most homebrew games. Double Dragon, for example, shows up one time with the year 1987. The NES game came out in 1988, but there's no entry for that. Zelda's Adventure was released on the CD-I, per the description, in 1994. This is a fan-made Game Boy game that isn't in the KZbin directory.
