I dont think enough people can understand how impressive this is. The crescendo and decrecendos at the beginning are so impossibly difficult to get right, and was an amazing way to start the piece, and then routing those same techniques throughout the piece while landing huge fortes, is just insane. Then I believe this is a decelerando or Grave here from 2:20 onwards, then ending in a solemn feel on the main melody of the piece. Beautifully done.

What I imagine when listening: - Sailing the ocean (duh) as the Captain of a ship - Daydreaming blissful memories of dancing at a gala with your wife - Everything in your vision begins to fade including your wife - You are falling in a black abyss - You wake up from your daydream and find your ship being raided by pirates - A full sword fight ensues - You meet swords with the head Pirate - Clashing and shoving, you get knocked to the ground and hit your head - You daydream of your wife once more - Wake up 3 seconds later about to be finished off by the Pirate - You roll and evade his sword, get up - Continue the battle, but this time you are transitioning back and forth from dancing with your wife and fighting the Pirate - You land the final blow - The Pirates are gone, and you and your crew are back to sailing - As you rest, you daydream once more about living in your house with your family in glorious days - You wake up again and it’s back to sailing the ocean.

It is so beautiful. I know this is a song from a game but it feels so much deeper. Thank you for this arrangement. Edit; 11 months later (3/10/22)) Almost a year since I made this post glad I can come back! Thank you all for the kind words I didn’t expect this comment to blow up like this. We haven’t gotten married yet but we will soon! We’re actually doing a court house wedding to save us money (due to the fact we’re going to be young n broke for a long time). Some clarification; I am a male, my future husband is also.. male. (Well, they’re gender-fluid but mostly male). Yes, gay couple 🏳️🌈! I understand I might receive some backlash for that but it’s cool, we’ve received woese lmfao. I’m sure this will be one of many of the songs we do for our own private party with just the two of us for the wedding, we’ll do the first dance and all the fancy stuff in a very low-key cheap way, likely a honeymoon in a motel kinda cheap lol. If anyone wants any updates for the wedding plans we have please feel free to ask since people seem genuinely invested in this! Again, thank you all for the support ❤️🏳️🌈
