5:00 that was me. I learned how to deflect lasers in botw I went into totk without a single spoiler looking for guardians to deflect but instead found a gloom hand and went "WTF IS THAT" I eventually killed it after 7 attempts early game, only for Phantom Ganon to spawn which I wasnt ready for to which he one shot me before I could even finish saying "Ecxuse me?" Then, after reloading the save, I avoided those things like the plague.

5:00 The horse race track between Fort Hateno and Hateno Village; I was on a horse with 5 speed. I spotted these... "things" moving about amidst the trees in the center. Had no idea what they were. Suddenly, they turned and looked right at me. Suddenly, I saw that they had eyes. The sky turned blood red, and the most terrifying notes filled my ears and those things screamed and gave chase. They were fast, too; they kept up with my horse sprinting full-speed for what felt like a long time, though it was probably only a few seconds. Now, whenever I see those things, I avoid them to the extreme. And if they spot me, I don't even chance it- just immediately open the map and teleport away. It's not worth it.

I learned the bomb flowers explode when you hit them when a Lyonel missed me and hit it to kill me. It’s a toss up which is more terrifying, Lyonels or Gloom Spawn (the hands)

Gloom hands are worse for sure. Lynels are easy. Just use an eyeball on an arrow to stagger them, jump on their back and go to town. When you're on their back, your weapon doesn't lose durability, so grab a royal guards claymore, fuse it with something really strong, then heavy attack with it until it's badly damaged. Congratulations, you now have a 100+ damage weapon to be used exclusively and infinitely while mounted on a Lynel's back.
