3:45 Ultra hand would make a great spin off the LOZ multiplayer games, just add a health bar and go robo wars on each other. to keep things fair there would be a few different classes. no limits for kicks and giggles, but a fusion limit of 10 to keep things interesting and up to 3 consumables like bomb barrels. every few wins you get a schematic and parts unlocked so it keeps the engineers away from the noobs. schematics are great for mid tier folks, and parts being unlocked keeps the engineers from going too crazy too soon in the ladder. 1v1, 2v2, all vs all, and sabotage modes with a friendly fire mechanic would ensure only one person comes out as the victor. and since this is LOZ they can blend in other titles of the series like Skyward Swords robots, the whip, and the beetle: Twilight Princess Spinner Top; and BOTWs guardians. im sure you guys could pitch in some deets to make "LOZ Ultra hand robot wars become a thing" like a better title, lol

After stumbling upon The_Janeway_Effect's shrine bowl hip joint mechanism, I've been using it to not only further my study of how engineering works in this game but also to perfect my own combat mech. It still has a tendency to fly apart the minute I activate it (or crash the game if it gets hung up on a building or wall), but I'm slowly ironing the bugs out. The fact that any of this is even possible is a major feather in the cap of TotK's programmers.

From what I can see, there are stabilizers attached to the big wheels to keep them from spinning. This transfers the rotation to whatever is attached to the axel which is what lifts the legs. However the carts attached to the hips act as stops to prevent the legs from doing a full 369 rotation.

I need to figure out Yamasks legs pronto. Hoverstone holding the cockpit level; I see big wheels for the joints facing opposite directions between the legs. Possibly being propelled by moving stick forward with one leg in the air and backwards when the other leg is. These slow, hefty mechanical legs are my new obsession.

The problem with the trapped fan is that it will be difficult to stop since when you let go of the stick the fan will keep going. But maybe you could have a spring that hits the fan when you grab the control stick. But then that adds more weight and you might need more fans or more panels in front of the fan.

6:00 Insight, I found out how it works, and I'm call it 4D stakes since it keeps the Weight so like it still is super heavy and in the direction it is like it still exists but not in this dimension like it still has its mass but its not there and you can't interact with it. They push they together wait till you learn you can push them inside sideways and create even more movement. Ngl should submit clips but 30s shots and stuff suck.. and find it hard to transfer to phone... Edit like an L shape, one stake appears and the other is inside the stake it creates a spin motion I haven't seen.

Maybe if you trap the wormhole stakes between two wooden wheels with a stabilizer on one end and that fan on the other you can go straight up for cheap.

I’m just waiting for people to find an object that has negative mass…. Also you know that bell in Tarrey Town (you ring it and get a korok seed), while I have NO clue how someone could manage to detach/steal it, it CAN be fused to objects (doesn’t come up in auto build though). I’m wondering what unique properties it may have? Also, all this stuff cost SO much zonaite, does anyone know the best way to get loads of it? (I’m not worrying about device capsules though, I’ve got MORE than enough capsules and zonai charges. Also I don’t care what’s needed such as rupees and whatnot for collection, I have a lot of stuff OTHER than zonaite!) I just had a thought, you know those water globules at the water temple? Well if you could manage to get one to stay permanently, than what could you do if you attached it to one of the bobber items (the ones you have to smuggle out of shrines)? Also HOW TF ARE PEOPLE managine to CENTER OBJECTS WITHOUT snap to place?!? A lot of this stuff takes such precise connections, so is it just about patience?
