Smash brothers aside, she's a playable character in Cadence of Hyrule, and Hyrule warriors, and that looks to be repeated in the new BOTW prequel hyrule warriors. You never know; Given that while a 3rd party is handling it, it is a direct prequel to BOTW, which also seems to be getting a sequel... We might actually get a playable zelda in a mainline game for the first time. Still won't be the main character, but it's a start.
