If I had to chose one other composer other than J.S. Bach to take to a desert island, it would be the complete works of J.D. Zelenka. These two were the twin pinnacles it seems. I've been pushing Zelenka's music for years as a viable substitute to JSB's oeuvre in both intellectual stimulation and compositional aesthetics. Much of his work is truly astonishing and can afford awesome dividends to the person who discovers it.

I agree completely. Zelenka's works marry the complexity of J.S.Bach with the vivacity of Vivaldi. Today they are becoming better known (as an example, known to and explored by me for only maybe 8 years now), but they still need 'pushing'.

A Heinz Hollinger,entre otros,debemos este "redescubrimiento" de la música de Dimas Zelenka. Sin duda y en mi humilde opinión este músico está a la altura de los mejores incluido J.S.Bach,Händel o Vivaldi en el tiempo que le tocó vivir.

The music is interrupted by ads in the middle and right before the end, frankly, it is quite a horrible experience to get a stupid cereal add shout at you right before the last few chords. What is going on, KZbin?

When God listens to music, This is on his playlist along with works of Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, etc. After all, they did come out of his divine mind. God is the only Master of the Universe.
