The top 1% will thrive regardless of the situation in there country. It doesn’t mean the other 99% is having a good time. Large swathes of territory destroyed, massive amounts of the population killed or drafted with the remainder under constant fear of rocket barrages. And the fear that, even if they fight as hard as they can, it may not be enough unless countries over a thousand miles away gives them the support they need to win. I don’t think many in Ukraine is having a great time right now.
