This is an attempt at constructive crticism bc i really think zella is rad and aristic in a way we just dont see much anymore. Because it is a cover of a very iconic song, I can appreciate the way diff vibe. Its true to the form represented across Zellas song too but to me this version lacks the grit encapculated by the lyrics. To me it sounds like a waitress overwhelmed by the dinner rush in a sleepy town or more fitting for a cover of the song just another manic monday. Its bold to redo a song that is literally an anthem so i am not knockin it but its a lil too polished for me to play over the original. 🤪
