I remember that first game. They decided Town needed a little extra help because they hadn't won a single game yet, so they threw on Prosecutor...only for it to immediately become a Jackal.

For anyone curious as to why the Cleric can't protect Mayor (besides game balance reasons) is explained in the Lore. Basically the Cleric was a sick person who got healed by a holy Wizard and learned the secrets to healing magic. Cleric would then help the town with all sorts of diseases and injuries. This got the Cleric a ton of riches and influence, second only to the Mayor of Salem. Mayor didn't like that and basically put a restriction on the Cleric's power. Only protecting one person a day. The Cleric got angry and vowed to never use their barriers on the Mayor. However, then came the attacks from the Coven of Witches. Despite their differences the Mayor and the Cleric knew they'd have to reluctantly work together. The Mayor won't let up the restrictions because the Mayor still wants to enjoy being the top dog. And the Cleric won't use their barrier to protect the Mayor.

Bryce’s comment about a cat person not being used to his feet being attacked is so funny to me because my cat is WAY more obsessed with feet than my dog. Like he bites them to get attention, licks them if they are near him too long, bites toes to wake people up, etc. That cat is far more of a menace to my feet than my dog ever has been.

That was a nice OP combo there. The fun of the 4-Way Deadlock is that you don't know how strong the Jackal faction is - Oracle/Plaguebearer would be a slightly weaker pair, Berserker/Ritualist would be amazingly powerful, Soul Collector/Coven Leader would trigger Death...

The continuation of this game mode was once again very entertaining. I am so glad Ze and Larry were an effective duo since those two often stumble when paired together, but they each played their parts very well and earned that victory! Also the supportive Apocalypse round where Ze lied about being Jackal and his partners were totally encouraging about it was weirdly heart-warming, lol. It made for an even funnier ending when Ze revealed the deception and Chibi lost it! I also love the running theme of people trying to figure out who the Jailor is by their punctuation and spelling, and X33n desperately trying to stop that to preserve his own grammatically-skillful way of typing, lol. Cheesy getting the win for the Apoc group was a miracle-I guess that's where the gridlock name comes in to play-and I'll gladly accept that as a spiritual win for Ze! I don't blame him either for falling for Minx's lies or shooting Chilled in the last round, since the latter always seems sketchy, and I'm glad it all worked out so the Town could have their well-deserved win! Thanks for another super-fun video, Ze, and I'm excited as always to see what's next!

Easy claim for exe or non town roles to use and it does a little to point at coven. I think it's the makeup of roles in this groups game. It sucks for more defined games but most play in All Any.

I do think they need to buff sheriff a bit more in this game. In that fourth game... Kara getting Sheriff is almost a dead role. If you look at the list, she could only uncover either Minx (Potion Master) or Larry (Pirate) and could only uncover Minx until Heck died. I think they should get something like a one use self-protect where they learn who visits them on that night (similar to lookout). It shouldn't interrupt the game play too much. As for the four way dead lock, it does seem fun/good, Seems a little bit too much stacked against town, since town gets basically no info passed Jailor... and if Jailor is jackal, none at all. I think it just needs one investigative role in there.

so in the last game shooting chilled is theoretically fine. since you live to the end of the day if you mess up. as long as kara's not necromancer you can just shoot chilled chilled should kill minx with his redirected attack. I think going minx was a stronger choice then going chilled but from a theoretical standpoint killing chilled is ok.

Yeah Ze literally had a 50/50 between Chilled and Minx. Kara couldn’t be necromancer because of Chilled’s info. He claimed he’d absorbed a potion master’s attack, so either last coven is potion master which confirms Kara is retri, or Chilled is lying because he’s the last coven. Tbf I think killing Chilled was actually the smart play because if Ze had shot Minx and been wrong, then he probably would’ve woken up to find Chilled had killed Kara (since she had 2 votes), then the meeting votes are tied 1v1 and Ze would have died to hangman at nightfall for killing a town, giving coven the win.

am i missing something or is Deputy weaker than Prosecutor? They both kill in the day and have role revealed, prosecutor ignores all defense, deputy can get jester/exe target, and the kicker: prosecutor can do it twice.

The only thing I'd say in favour of the deputy is it doesn't end the day unlike prosecutor, so it can shoot someone bad and town can then go for someone else too

Minx is a nomkin who is just getting used to multiplayer again. She was there when Chilled and Ze were little and needed help learning how to play social deception games, then retired from them for about 10 years so she's rusty. And Chilled was SWEATY when she first returned to the scene because this is her behaving herself. Until the algo started punishing it, her trademark was screaming the C-word whenever something went wrong. Now that the ban is lifted on Twitch, she still does it but a lot less. Chilled wasn't sure how much editing he'd have to do with her around but she's been good and hasn't given him any more work to do.
