Just in case!a new owner reads this. I used these parrot tv videos to train my conures to fly to my hand. I’d say c’mon and they’d fly to the the phone. Then, with phone playing video in my shirt pocket again say c’mon. Within a week, they’d fly just to my hand with c’mon alone.

Just got a new cage for my 2 cockatiels, they were kind of scared because it is their first bed time in the new cage and they were screaming, this has calmed them down

Thank you for your informative notes, like how cockatoos are needy noisy birds! They will scream to warn you if someone comes to the house, or if they see “suspicious” activity outside, or just for fun!!! A criminal lookout is called “a cockatoo” in Australia, because these birds are so vigilant! #adoptdontshop

Thank You So Much for this. I did question whether or not to put that info in there at the time, but as a person who lives with a Moluccan (and has cared for a Goffins), I just felt like it was important to keep the conversation going on just how loud, complicated, and at times, difficult Cockatoo's can be when caring for them day in and day out. Too many people fall in love with their softer, fluffier side (from online videos) and don't realize what they are really getting into when they adopt one

What are your feeding bowls made from and from where did you buy them?
@ParrotTown2 жыл бұрын
Hi 😊 The bowls came with their java trees (I haven't really found where to buy them individually). They appear to be made out of a sand stone kind of material. If you're up for some digging/research, here's our list in our Amazon shop (the java trees we have are in this list if you'd like to check them out) amzn.to/3sIDuRa I hope that helps ❤

@@ParrotTown I checked out that site yesterday before I posted my question...saw them on the java trees but didn't find anything else on the bowls. I'll keep digging tho. Thanks for the reply.
