Today in class, I was caught in the position at 18:01 and did the spider-face thing, and I was able to escape and take the back. It was the most effective and immediately applicable armbar escape I've ever experienced so far. Thank you so much Mike!!

This is great! I knew about pinning the leg and hitch hiking but always had my hand turned upwards and I struggled a lot. The spider-face and swim move makes it much easier.

excellent class. Really appreciate the theory of offense vs defense and timing/opportunity. Would love to see more "subs"...the fine details clearly make the difference. Thanks again- Excellent teaching.

32:09 Correction: Dunning-Kruger is more about, the more you know, the more you think everybody else knows what you know. In contrast, within the spectrum, is the bottom where people think they know more than they do because they see others that do understand a concept well and assume their intelligence because of their association with the person that actually does know the material. He proved the concept of Dunning-Kruger by actually being a victim of it 😂

@@Michaelcurrierbjj This was an awesome seminar man much love from perth, australia You should pitch the idea to hollywood where you play a combat stunt double in a deadpool x john wick collaborative flick. No disrespect to john wick but id say he wouldnt stand a chance.
