Did this as a favor for my old neighbor, Marion. She was 93 and has since passed away. She was a very nice lady with a good heart. I now take care of all of her cats. You can see videos of them on this channel. They are lots of fun to have around.

Reminds me of the pressure washing I used to do at my mums house, she passed away nearly 5 yrs ago. Its such a logical process, including avoiding splash back and missing bits. I still find it satisfying to reveal the colour beneath. So good watching your attention to detail. High five for helping others.

I hear that a surface cleaner cleans faster and more equally for concrete work, not suitable for patio work though..the wand is ideal for that. I'm wanting to learn how to run one of those myself.

Doug Rucker has PW classes down in Texas. I think his next one is in November. You're correct, a surface cleaner would have finished that job in 20% of the time with more uniform results and no tiger striping from uneven wand strokes and inconsistent distance from the surface. When I got my first surface cleaner I made the mistake of asking my wife if she wanted to try it...I never got it back the rest of the day!!! Taking the training is a huge step and I feel it is required. It looks like a very simple tool to use, but without some training or warnings at least, you can easily cause a lot of damage or ruin some surfaces. You can blow caulk out of joints, blow water inside of multi-pane windows and cause permanent hazing (window replacement anybody?), remove joint sand from pavers, strip layers off of wood or cut into wood, leave cut marks on wood and other surfaces from improper wand use, remove paint from siding, chip concrete, let alone the damage you could do to yourself. People use a PW on a ladder and the pressure knocks a lot of people off the ladder, people shoot tips 50-75 yards when they are not properly seated in the quick connect - hopefully nobody is in the path when it launches. If you're not wearing protective glasses you can get all kinds of debris in your eyes. If you're not wearing proper foot gear you can break your skin and rip flesh (sorry for the mental image). I'm tired and these are off the top of my head, but pressure washers are a lot like a wild animal...it doesn't take much of a mistake to get bitten. I'm not saying not to use one, I'm just suggesting to get some training so you don't damage something around your house and learn the hard way.

May I ask what difference would it make to use pressurized cleaners instead of the old thumb trick - a hose, some detergent and man power? That is great job you did and I watched it for my own enjoyment though I have these questions because i am not sure if that dirt is not removable other ways 🤔

Was this an abandoned house? What's the point of power washing cracked, painted cement? They should break it up and get new walkways. But you did a great job even though it looked like you didn't move the flowerpot to spray underneath it or hit the side of the house that was dirty too. Great camera work! And no crazy music!!!

Not sure of the brand, but it's got a Honda engine. And it's 2700 psi.

2700 PSI...probably 2.3 to 2.5 gallons per minute, depending on the model of the pump. Honda engines are bulletproof as long as you maintain them properly, which for this model isn't much more than changing the oil. Guessing 6.75 HP or Ft-Lb of torque and 190 cc engine. I've replaced my pump on mine (Amazon has universal replacement pumps), but I still have the same engine that has worked well for me for 10 years! I bought mine from Lowe's. It was sitting out front returned from the original owner and missing the high pressure hose. I talked the manager into selling it to me for $120.
