It screws with the youtube algorythm. Basically his videos get less views and promotion because youtube decides it must be a bad video if everyone stops watching half way through the video. So him and Feer started just putting the actual length for videos to try improve their channel growth

Jack does add to it a bit by saying he thinks Daniel is more impressive at 15 while Zen was at 14 but that's partially because of the ban so we'll never know. Also adds that it's like comparing a number 1 to a number 2, ultimately it's close enough that you can say "who cares". And I agree, but it doesn't change the fact that they still said Zen without hesitation and without ever even seeing the guy compete in RLCS

@Luc Germain True but upsets also happen, people have off days, Dark played exceptionally well on that day as well and I'm also inclined to believe he wouldn't be able to replicate the results on another day, meanwhile Zen seems capable. I get where you're coming from but I think people are selling Rezears a bit short, he's rightfully considered EU #3 ever since he clapped Joreuz in that one match. That said I really don't understand people hating on Zen but anyone with eyes and a brain can see the kid plays amazing, the rest are just envious, lesser players that refuse to acknowledge his skill and talent.

yes it does, i’m not sure how exactly but i’ve done some experiments with it and it would appear to at flipping into the wall accelerates you ever so slightly faster (to the point where it’s almost unnoticeable)

Johnny you skip every rezears goal and yet watch zens every one. Won't say this is an advantage to zen(tilt wise although it would tilt me) because they are both pro tier players but I think if you realise how good zen is as a player we got to watch how rezears dismantles his play style at points I think you have to be conscious of this even though its exciting to see zen perform. Thats just my thoughts much love!

They both would have got a 1 year ban. Both knew they were cheating and have accepted the consequences. Not sure how that seems harsh - this has been the punishment since the start of RLCS. If they don't give an appropriate punishment, then it encourages other players to attempt the same. The simplest solution is to not cheat in the first place.

I’m also not saying the punishment shouldn’t be severe, because you’re right, it needs to be strong enough to prevent people from doing it. But I think the bulk of the punishment should fall on the RLCS player who has a contract with an org and is a professional, and not on the kid playing on their account. They should also be punished, I think 6 mo ban would be fair on the incumbent player side.

@@thundabread318 Zen was still an accomplice, although that does sound heavy for a kid - we are talking about official tournaments with big prize pools available. Whether you think that 1 year is too harsh or not, it's meant to try and discourage players from doing the same. Psyonix could easily issue life-long bans from RLCS events if players are caught cheating, 1 year isn't the end of the world. I don't disagree with you that 6 months might be fairer, but the rules have been set and it would be more harsh to change that now after other players like Atomic, Seikoo, Nwpo etc. all had to lose a year. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime!
