This is the first zen showmatch I watched in its entirety since I’m a Yan Stan and a massive furia fan and I am very impressed everytouch on the ball is so effective every play and challenge so calculated like he’s planning several chess moves ahead. I'm sorry but 20 ping and 130 ping is NOT comparable to 44 to 80 ping, seems very unfair to yanx imo, you can't make the excuse that he's used to it either, that ping is borderline unplayable. And the fact that Zen was complaining when he got 110 ping?!!? Why was that allowed? 110 to 40 is still less of a disadvantage than 20 to 130

Series like this one are why we need an 1v1 LAN, because even with one more game on home server yan is still on disadvantage, no matter how good a player is, they can't react to anything on 124 ping much less when your opponent is a player like zen and 88 is not that bad of a ping to play on away servers, zen is great(might be the best) and there's a probability that he could beat yan if the conditions are equal but we won't know from a series like this. (I'm not saying any of this is johnny's fault by the way).

It would not be as easy for zen to 10-0 all these pros if the ping was actually fair, 88 ping is almost like playing home server while 120 is horrible, even a 1 game advantage doesn't make up for this because its almost an all games advantage for the person with max 88 ping.

Zen is amazing. Don't get me wrong, but unfortunately, I have a hard time rooting for him. If there are any football fans here it's kinda like the Messi vs. Ronaldo debate. Messi is a magician and I love watching him but it's hard to root for a player that you know you'll never be able to match. Same for Zen, I'll never play as well as him. Other tops 1s players are amazing in their own right, like OKhalid, AppJack etc. These players garner so much adoration because their playstyle is one that I at least believe I could match with thousands of hours. But with these super mechy players Zen, Daniel etc when I watch them I'm not learning anything as I'll never be able to replicate that

Zen is probably the most mechanical player ever but 1's will catch up to him. I may be right I may be wrong. But he's only been playing 1's for 2 months. Once players have played him more he won't be as dominant. Same thing happened with dark. All this hype around him but once players learn his play style he'll be much easier to counter. I may be wrong but we will see. Love this high level gameplay though! Very Happy Zen came to 1's!
