ZENABA (translation -not literal- to English) Oh, Zenaba, you’re denying me your love Denying it to the very man you love, Zenaba I knew it, Zenaba oh That the food you were cooking for me You were splitting the plates, oh. Waters don’t get disturbed without a reason, Zenaba You provoked this argument on purpose So you could have a reason for us breaking apart I couldn’t believe it, Zenaba, eh The way you were preparing To give yourself away, You were hiding it from me… What did I do wrong, Zenaba? I gave my heart to you But you’re throwing it away, Zenaba Things can’t be kept hidden forever, Zenaba We love to take a look right where we are forbidden to watch And when men are jealous they go chasing the women they love But I’m going to live you alone, Zenaba So you can live your life as it pleases you But look who you are leaving behind, Zenaba, woh, Zenaba. Zenaba is already gone And she left me with nothing but these words She told me that she doesn’t want me to ever go after her That I have to realize that she is her own person She has changed her worldview and how she wants to live her life And that now is up to me to look for another loved-one Zenaba is gone Zenaba is gone It isn’t a big deal You just left, oh Zenaba, eh But look at the pain that you have put me through You did witness how all these made me suffer The promise we made together Now you’re acting as if you don’t even know who I am It isn’t a big deal This is my own fault, oh Zenaba I’m going to meditate about why we aren’t together anymore I’m going to ask myself who told you these lies One day you’re going to send people to get back to me But I’m going to refuse you, Zenaba It isn’t a big deal These things happen to people, Zenaba In all loving relationships, there’s always drama What really hurts me is that we were so used to each other I’m going to do my best to try to forget you But you left owing me something, oh Zenaba, oh.

The translation is excellent. But as Dorella said at the top, it’s not literal. There is a lot more going on here, a phrase here, another there that cannot be translated cleanly., But this is as good a translation as it gets.
