Who else loves that Zeneia gave us a heads-up before removing the green plastic? I love how caring and understanding she is about neurodivergent people, especially autistic people like myself. My adhd loves that she didn’t spend too much time of each trigger so that I was still engaged!❤

When I had mine I found every time she validated the ways I - as an adult - have learned how to make things work for me very meaningful. We talked through a lot and we never made autism seem bad. Especially as an adult I’ve figured out a lot of ways to make stuff work but the validation of not being weird was deeply important to me. I wasn’t broken. My brain works differently, and that’s okay and there are things I have done and can do to get just as much out of life as anyone! That was especially helpful and affirming during my assessment. As well as her putting no pressure on me to focus or look her eyes. She just said I didn’t have to and then I didn’t and it was fine. She didn’t mention it until notes in the end. At the end of my assessment she gave me a sheet of assessment questions for me to answer and for my friends to answer what they’d seen me do too. Might be good answering questions content.

At my assessment it really helped when I was told “you can just be yourself and relax, it’s not a test. It’s nerve wracking that we are watching you and assessing you but we are not here to judge you” :)💕

I went through my autism assessment at 15! I remember I was shown pictures and told to make a story out of them, I was told to pretend to brush my teeth, I was asked so many questions about my life and childhood. good luck with the video!!!

My son was 6 at the time. He's 10 now and not found to be on the spectrum. But the evaluator asked him if he wanted to play with toys. Watched what he did with them. Things such as blocks, cars, balls. He saw my son create and be brilliant while complimenting him on what he did. It felt very natural, like speaking with a friend while being asked questions about my concerns with my son's speech delays and sensory processing issues among other things. So many things were affirmed and encouraged. It was a pleasant experience for us.

Hi, I discovered you with your rhythmic ASMR a few days ago, and it really helped me not to think too much. I have real problems with instructions in the school system for example, because I think of all the possibilities that a simple question could imply, all the nuances and details that are missing..., so I feel really safe when I'm given clear instructions - even if they have nothing to do with maths or physics lol. What's more, rhythmic sounds are very pleasant for me. It's like when I catch myself repeating nonsensical phrases, word patterns that make no sense, but the repetitive patterns help me relax and stop the constant flow of thoughts! Wow. that was long... All this just to say 'thank you', dear stranger

Hey, Zeneia! I don't know if you are going to read this but here we go: I'm an autistic person who likes ASMR a lot, especially your videos. They are very well made and you are really talented when it comes to videos for the neurodivergent community! A few days ago, someone dropped a bomb near my school, and it made a very loud noise. I panicked: I put my hands on my ears and started crying and breathing fast. My teacher calmed me down, but I'm still kind of tormented by that noise. I'm watching this video to calm myself down after that scary noise. Thank you for your videos, Zeneia! 💗💗

Hey zenia, I'm a long time viewer from North America and I've been watching for a few months now. However, I don't think I've ever made my first comment on your channel!! (I've peeked at the comments of every single video of yours since I started watching you. Which I believe was your first ASMR for autistic ppl when I was diagnosed with autism & ADHD before It was confirmed I was misdiagnosed and that I don't actually have those things.) Anyways I wanted to comment on the filtered color segment and say I really liked the Green, yellow & blue filters and would like to see them more often!! I feel like red is a bit too harsh on the eyes (at least mine, idk abt anyone else) Like I said, I normally don't really comment on youtube videos at all unless I have something to say (and even then it's a 50/50) but I just thought today I'd change that and chime in with this!! Wishing you the best since your break🫂❤️❤️
