When I got this I stuck Calvina in it. Her melee and ranged stats are practically identical, and Coustwell hits just as hard as Bellzelute does.

Kinda makes me not want to get Coustwell Brachium. Since it'll be at 1/3 of its full power compared to the SRW J version. A grave miss justice have been done upon the main characters of SRW J.

I know Coustwell Brachium has the same issue, but I laughed my ass off when I first started using Al-Van and his Leftyclans! Aside from that, two Raftclans and Granteed Dracodeus would be way too much overkill.

Kinda sad..... Why only Brachium Blow..... If i'm not mistaken, this is the move when you're using Katia as Co-Pilot..... No other variant of ultimate move??? Kinda sad, because this is my favorite unit in J, and using Tenia as my Co-Pilot

No brachium blow is the standard second strongest attack. Brachium Finish is the ultimate move, which isn't in this game. I really liked the ultimate move with tenia too. The fact you just beat the shit out of your enemy.

@Volcano Create 4 Orgone Shadows to beat the crap outta enemies, is such a bliss LoL. It's been a long time since i play J, and of course finished it first using Coustwell with Tenia as Co-Pilot for extra power. And unexpectedly the best Ultimate Attack for Coustwell than using Katia & Melua. Even in Granteed, i like Tenia's better. Laser Pew Pew

You forgot to mention that it has access to Larseilam which Bellzelute Brigandy lacks making a good choice for Calvina too. (Not that she needs it.)

Reminds you of OG2 when you have to choose to either Vysaga or Angelg for Lamia. Provelm being that at that stage, you've pretty much made the pilot a long range, so it's kinda waste in the 1st playthrough.

What does access to Larseilam do for you, exactly? Does the Brigandy not have the Orgone Cloud anymore?

Larseliam allows the user to freeze any Non-Fury technology.

What does that translate to in-game, though? Does it negate enemy barriers and abilities or something?

It means for the most part, the enemy units are unable to move at all, there is a reason why Touya and Calvina must not be shot down, they have Larseliam cancellers built into their units, at least in J, if they get shot down, the rest of the team become sitting ducks. Think of Larseliam being applied like an Electromagnetic field or an EMP burst.

From Akurasu: Calvina must battle Jua-Mu on Stage 30 Moon Route Touya must destroy the Coustwell Brachium during Stage 35 while the Excellence Rescue is on the map (Touya only needs to initiate the attack).

To those who are curious on how get this guy, you have to take the moon route in chapter 30, you are introduced to Coustwell Brachium along with Excellence Gunstrikers. On this chapter, Bellzelute Brigandy has to fight Coustwell atleast once which why would you want Bellzelute to fight Coustwell just once when you can make sure you get the requirement by taking your time with Coustwell. Then at Chapter 35 you have to destroy Coustwell using Granteed Dracodeus or atleast have him be leading a group attack that has to bring Coustwell down to 0. Careful though, because at 40000 hp, Jua-Mu will leave and you will not get Coustwell Brachium. However just who would even want to be piloting Coustwell since only a person who is a Fury can pilot it. Although it is faster than Granteed and almost as invincible as it with en regen, orgone cloud, and larseilam. Personally I don't recommend it since you will barely have much time to have a go at it.

Yeah, this was always the mech I saved for my third playthrough because I've always found it meh. Seems the devs thought the same lol. Shame it doesn't have 3 ultimate attacks. Why put it in the game if you're gonna half ass it?
