The lead you made is a awesome copy of it. I am thinking now, it could be a particular distortion used, such as a guitar pedal or fed into another synth with ext input, that gives it that unique texture,

Zenith, a Legend that i know late, finding classic hardstyle tracks i found more deep of he. and with agressive records track in 90s i fall in love with their tracks, by made simpler and powerful. if you want to hear their hardstyle era i reccomend tracks like Victims of hardstyle with lady dana, who is calling that was remastered this year by Tatanka (Wild MF w/ zatox), and my favourite... "Musica Che Domina" and 9:23 OOF that Streets of Avalon is my fav hardcore track

This is a great track from Zenith of course, and like your other work i have to say this is getting damn close to the original! You're so fckn good with recreating the sounds, it almost sounds similar. Also the way you created the kick in this video is pretty amazing. Very good job mate! Nailed the gloomy vibe and the kick was spot on. I feel like it might have been worth trying a Korg MS20 for the lead (clone or OG) but you got very close regardless

Great job on the kick ! I called it the "Wavelan kick" for decades (Wavelan - A1 - It Will Stand - 1994 IST007) I suspect maybe Zenith sampled it from there, as did many others (r_aW ?).

I hadn’t heard the Wavelan track before, but I listened now and you must be totally right! The kick has been used in lots of tracks and I though Zenith was first, but it’s definitely Wavelan. Thanks, very interesting!
