Great voiceover that fully conveys his plot and lore, he uses old Japanese which speaks to his long life. His voice is full of sadness and calmness, he is really tired and his resurrection phrase sounds heartbreaking. In turn, the disgusting English dubbing doesn't honor his plot, but just looks at his appearance. They made no effort to put sadness in his voice, simple theatrical sighs. English professional VAs will never learn how to do voiceovers. Such negligence to the plot and character lore should be considered a crime.

You clearly didn't understand the character if you think that. Blade has more than one side to his personality: one is tired of living and deeply regretful of his past mistakes, as depicted here, but the other is violent, maniacal and vengeful due to the madness caused by the Mara consuming him from within. Each language's voice actor simply chose to focus on a different aspect of his personality when interpreting him, and they both did a fantastic job conveying the side of the character that they decided to explore. In fact, I'd say the English VA makes even MORE sense than the Japanese one when it comes to his lore, because it has been clearly established that when Blade fights his Mara starts to flare up, and the more he fights the more violent and out of control he becomes. So it makes perfect sense for his battle voice lines to be crazed and murderous, especially considering that EN VA also explores Blade's melancholic side in the scenes outside of combat, where he is more composed and in control of his emotions. You should probably pay attention to the character and his story before talking shit about his VA for *correctly* interpreting him. You say that such negligence towards the character and his lore should be a crime, but the only one who either completely ignored or misunderstood Blade's story was you.
