Personally, I can still get on with this kind of idea of being able to control characters apart from the fighters, and I think it's a good solution. But I do NOT think it's good if you can just walk around the city with any character! That would ruin the entire story as well as the immersion and focus on the siblings! Especially since the concept was actually (as I always understood it) that the main characters of the story are the siblings ,so only the two should be the ones you can officially control within the city. Other characters should only be controllable, as indicated here now, when it comes to a character related quest or story. Otherwise, they should only appear as NPCs in the city, with whom you can then interact. Anything else I wouldn't like at all, as I said, it would ruin the whole concept of the game which is based on the siblings in terms of story etc. I have no problem with the fact that the characters you draw are only drawn so that you can fight with them and nothing else. I wonder why so many people have a problem with that? It's probably more the people who have no interest in the story and/or immersion.

TV mode brings me back to to when I used to play a bunch of old school rpg's where graphics weren't amazing but the gameplay and story made up for it. Plus it helps differentiate this game from other fast-paced action games. For me I can see if this mode wasn't implemented at all in another universe, players would eventually get bored or want more variety in gameplay than just fighting then the devs would add this mode in. I love it, idc what anyone else says otherwise lmao

@@vinniegret4841 The problem I have is: 1: A Ranks get less "investment" than S Ranks. For example, no A ranks in ZZZ except the 3 starter characters get demos. Also, Ellen and ZhuYuan are the only characters with EP music videos, and they are both Limited S ranks. 2: Most A ranks rely on Mindscapes (or Constellation/Eidolon) for some of their power. An example is Nicole, who needs some of her Mindscapes for stronger buffs/bigger AoE. Sure, its not 100% required, but usually S ranks aren't as Mindscape reliant. 3: We already have 4 Limited characters, and all of them are female. If i want to pull Seth (my favourite character out of the 3 being released), I am forced to pull on either Qingyi or Jane who I have less interest in. Of course, it SHOULD be easier to get Seth and even get him to M6 ( I can see his M6 art muahahaha), yet I can't help but be slightly disappointed that he is yet another A rank. Currently in ZZZ, we only have 4 male playable characters, 5 if you include Seth. Lycaon, Ben, Anton, Billy and soon Seth. Only 1 of them is an S rank (Lycaon), not to mention the sheer imbalance in the "Male to Female" ratio. I am just hoping Harumasa will be an S rank cuz god we husbando wanters deserve it after this drought.

Yes! v1.1 looks great from what we could see so far. Is Seth rocking Charge Blade animations from Monster Hunter!? That's so sick! 10/10 character for that alone. :D
