Zeno deffinately deserved all the hugs he got in the story. This song fits him beautifully. SPOILER ALERT: I remember reading the manga and the moment he got cut was the moment my breath was caught, this innocent 17 year old, who was always smiling so brightly, looking so carefree was cut right through the shoulder. The one everyone thought was the weakest and it was as devastating as it was heartbreaking. And then the moment he regenerated, I wanted to know more about him. When his story was told, I figured it couldn't have been a beautiful happy life and he had to have been very lonely that even Death abandonned him when all he wanted to be was with the his friends and the King he served and loved so much. Immortality isn't the answer after all. It's the stories people tell about you when you're gone that makes you immortal.

Bring immortal may be good but it's absolutely terrible. You want to look young while experience a whole new era but when you see the people you love die and yourself staying young, the one's you love are gone right in front of your eyes and you feel death abandon. It was worse for Zeno. I just hope he find peace once more and die happily to see his wife, Hiryuu and the other dragons.

The death of Hiryuu and the other dragons and his wife had crush him very badly. Zeno really suffer too much pain, sorrow,sadness and also loneliness. It really broke and tear apart my heart seeing him going through all the hardships without them. Immortality maybe a gift to live longer and see a new era but when you see the people you love die right in front of your eyes, you'll break down in years of sadness because immortality is both a blessing and a curse and even death will abandon you . It was so saddening Zeno really needs a cuddle.

He always looked so cheerful,who could have thought this innocent smile had such dark,worst experiences in past..Is this dragon power or curse??? Eventually rest of them will grow old,die & he'll be left alone again...He wanted to make people happy..Instead of that he got obsessive pain for good... :') God I feel so bad for Zeno!!!!!!!!May someday his soul will return to heaven.. :')

I know this video makes my cry, I know these chapters make me cry, still I always have to reread the chapters, rewatch this video. I really love Zeno (one of my babys), and I wish from the bottom of my heart, that someday, he will be able to meet his old friends again, to meet Kaya again. Zeno is one of the reasons that make me think that not being immortal is a blessing but death.

The death of hiryuu, the other dragons and his wife had crush him very bad. When I watch the ova, when he hit his right hand on the rock pavement and it bleed, the wound was gone and Hiryuu was both shocked,sad and surprised and he hug Zeno and give him the dragon medallion knowing that Zeno would go through all the hardships without them. It absolutely broke my heart that our cute 17 year old ouryuu has been sad and broken hearted through the ups and downs still he keeps on going with a smile. It really hurts him so bad I feel sympathy for him.

I was BLUBBERING when I was just halfway through the flashback-like, I wasn't even CRYING anymore. I was just this big, blubbering mess of a human being who was just choking on their tears when trying to talk. Hopefully-HOPEFULLY at the end, when everything is said and done and there's no need for the dragons power anymore, the four of them will lose their powers so there won't be any more hatred or fear or loss.

Ready to feel worse? Zeno isn’t immune to pain. He still feels every stab, burn, cut, etc. The pain only fades when he’s done healing. So yeah, he felt his head get chopped off. (The hell does that feel like...)

So I can't remember how much of the backstory is actually covered, so I'm just gonna give you the whole spiel: 2000 years or so previous to the main story, the red dragon Hiryuu decided that he wanted to be human, so he human-ed up and settled in the place that he would eventually make Kouka (Yona's country). His dragon friends got worried about him, so they bestowed powers on four of Hiryuu's warriors. The yellow dragon(aka Ouryuu)'s power is immortality. While the other dragons age, die, and reincarnate, Zeno here is the original receiver of Ouryuu's power. So not only did the poor baby lose Hiryuu to an untimely death, but he then outlived all his friends --- and because of the bond between the dragons, he *felt* them die. He started wandering, not quite sure what to do with himself when he wasn't deterring invaders, and he came across a girl dying of a terminal illness and fell in love with her. Of course, she dies, and he's left heartbroken and homeless. He resumes his wandering and discovers that the dragons reincarnate. He occasionally popped in to check on them. And then he sensed a presence he hadn't felt in centuries --- the presence of Hiryuu. And that's pretty much where he enters the main storyline. Though I seriously suggest you read the manga yourself; it's very well worth it.
