I first learnt this pattern in school about 60 years ago, but it looks so much better with Rick's additions! And I love the fact that you can create meta patterns by using four tiles. Can't wait to try this out

Whoah. Never had heard of zetangle before. But it's so cool. I just tried my first one and it's not that bad, but I messed up the proportions. Thanks for sharing

This tangle is so very cool. Love how no matter which way you place them, they line up with a geometic design of sorts.

When you see Paradox on the thumbnail, you can tell that Rick is going to draw in this video ;)

I find this easier to do, or I should say, it makes more sense to me if I do the mirror image drawn away from me, but still working from corner to line instead of line to corner. In this way I turn the tile in the opposite direction. It always amazes me to see the finished pattern and its “elegant” curves, as Maria says.

Not too much. There's a lot of patterns like this in mandala, for example that reminds me the swastika even more. But this one I don't see it

Deborah, As a Jewish woman I don’t interpret it that way. I think we need to consider the intent of things and not “read into” them the worst imaginable. It is just a very cool design.

Try this pattern in a different shaped outline, like a triangle or a pentagon. You might like it better.
