I'm on my Twelfth Zentangle sketch book - having found it more handy to keep everything bound together rather than on individual loose tiles. I have decorated each cover with various "Tangles", but am finding it harder and harder to make each one completely unique. Thanks for some new suggestions to spring-board from!

Happy 20th. This will be my first journal. It’s a little intimidating to me. I know it shouldn’t be. I’m scared to mess up the cover. Oh well, I’m going to go for it. Thanks for all the inspiration and great ideas.

I started an encyclopaedic collection of tangles in an address book years ago archiving the design under their relevant letter. It was fun and I use it all the time. Bx

Wunderschöne Bücher. Wie schattiert ihr in den Büchern, wenn ihr beide Seiten des Buches betangel? Bei mir vereischt die Bleustiftschsttierung oder drückt auf die gegenüberliegende Seite ab. Das sieht dann so schmuddelig aus

You can insert a piece of thin tracing paper between the pages if you are concerned about transfer from one page to another.

ich betangle deswegen immer nur eine seite und nutz die andre zum gedanken aufschreiben oder so. dann siehts auch nicht so dicht aus. :)
