one thing I love about Zen World Sam tutorials, he never demonstrates on shitty music, always top-notch composition. this dude literally teaches the rare-advanced tricks on incredible tracks. i watch some of the tutorials more than once just because of the great track playing and so much good information to take notes.

In ABLETON you can simply hit "A" on your keyboard to Toggle between AUTOMATION Mode & Off 😉 ALSO ABLETON comes with a Slew of Sizeable AUTOMATION SHAPES that can Speed things up IMMENSELY -> Simply HIGHLIGHT the area in your project you wish to AUTOMATE and Right-Click and the CLIP MENU will appear -> @ the Very Bottom of that MENU are 10 different Automation Shapes to choose from -> Click on one & the Shape will FILL your HIGHLIGHTED area 😎👍

whats the key step in patching the matriarch to get it to sound fat like 24:04 and 26:14 - osc layering for phasy drift against each other, pwm square into filter, osc sync, some specific stereo setting of the filter, something specific to paraphonic mode setup, or is that just the way moog filters sound? trying to wrap my head around if I could achieve similar fatness with the mother 32, dfam, subharmonicon bundle.

Very important topic for sure! So, I have a question, I have been trying to figure out a way to copy all the automation layers of something? I can copy the top layer, but have to do each other, one by one. I would assume there is some way to do all of them at once? Also at the end you talk about people having fav. combos of automation's. That might be a fun video for the future, about automation combos, and/or plug in chains with the various automation's of the fx's traveling into each other in certain orders. Thanks!
@chillstalgia80432 жыл бұрын
Copy the midi or audio clip the automation lock off. Paste that clip where you want the automation and delete the clip. All the automation should still be there.
