It IS WHAT IT IS!!! Deceiver Vol 3 COMING OUT NICELY. Drums BE SLAPPING, Claps be clapping, Synths Be Bumping, bass be thumping...

when will it be out bro?
@SuperMonibuvy4 жыл бұрын
11:40 You and the people telling you not to do this are both correct. Including frequencies below 30-40hz is very noticeable on massive festival sound systems because their frequency response can actually extend that low. With the lowest being around 22-24hz. But those frequencies don't have to come from your bassline, kicks can really benefit from having that extra rumble in the low end. Also my two hs8 only go to 38hz so with ought a sub you don't get those frequencies in day to day mixing. This is why the next addition for me is a sub (also cause I'm a bass head) As a side note this applies to playing mp3s vs wavs. In regular listening its almost impossible to distinguish the difference between an mp3 and lossless formats, but because mp3s don't include anything below 30hz they don't impact quite as hard on speakers that can reproduce those frequencies at really high volumes. So cut low! and include just a bit because if your track ends up being played on those speakers you're gonna want it.
@Kasper-mu4ov4 жыл бұрын
tbh I think mp3 cuts everything below 20 hz
@SuperMonibuvy4 жыл бұрын
@@Kasper-mu4ov you are correct! I was confused and wrote the wrong thing. Mp3s do including the 20-30 range. Buy depending on the encoder used it may decide those frequencies are not needed and might just remove it. I forgot to include the biggest issue with playing mp3s on big systems and that is just how encoding down destroys bass content. www-soundonsound-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.soundonsound.com/techniques/what-data-compression-does-your-music?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&&usqp=mq331AQFKAGwASA%3D#aoh=16006208274427&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.soundonsound.com%2Ftechniques%2Fwhat-data-compression-does-your-music "The MP3 format has a reputation for making bass and low-frequency content sound weak: that slammin' bass line can easily lose its phatness! (See audio examples L and M referenced above.) Low frequencies are harder for DSP algorithms to analyse because their durations are long, and amplitude differences over the short analysis windows used by the encoders may only be slight - so the analysis system doesn't get an entire cycle of a low frequency per analysis window. In some situations, the encoder will be presented with less than a half cycle of any frequency below 114Hz. The AAC format fares much better in bass resolution, and it is thus much more forgiving to the bass."

11:22 bro you don't need 10k speakers to hear below ~33hz you can get a decent studio sub to do that for less than $500. If you had that you would realize there is a lot of juicy sub to be heard down there and adds a lot to a track :)

Hello Zen, great video as always but i feel like your content is becoming repetitive and you need to introduce a new genre. I recommend melodic techno, great genre that can be both energetic, aggressive or relaxing, calm. Some of the artists that i would like you to focus on are Tale of Us, Artbat, Coeus ( Beyond Dreaming EP, italia remix), maybe even Solomun or Boris Brejcha... Best of luck in the future!
