He was appealing to traditional, religious, military rulers to "save our democracy" Military ruler, Sanni Abacha, annuled the election, MKO Abiola was jailed, and later died in prison. After his death, it was discovered that there was no rigging, in fact it was the freest and fairest election in Nigeria's history. Fast forward to 2023 presidential election. Tinubu/Shetima won the presidential election. Pat Utomi, Chukwuemeka Ezeife are crying all over the country about rigged election, appealing to traditional, religious, military rulers to "safe our democracy" They have not provided a single evidence to support claim...Nigerians need to stand at alert.
