the dev team decided to go back to the original androgynous voice concept. the husky, robotic voice heard in borderlands 2 and episodes 1-4 is a decision that was regretted after it was made. the team went back to the unfiltered voice so zer0's voice could fit their androgynous appearance a lot better. i feel like the team was a little miffed everyone was mistaking zer0 for a man.

Am I the only one that finds his voice better like this? It sounds more fitting with the 'Alien' thing. As much as Edgy zer0 sounds cool, I think this would be a better character trait, the "dark mysterious edgy" character thing is overused, having his voice like this is a twist that I wouldnt mind. Also, it stated on the Telltale website that this zer0's voice was a glitch in the mainframe, they did intend on having his voice like it usually is, but the glitch made it so the voice didnt deepen and it just sounds like a roboticized version of the VA's actual voice. It would be a fairly cool trait to have a voice changer maybe, or have diversity in his voice/development
