This game doesn't really have side missions, you have to basically find out what the fuck has happened to everyone, hence all the sections in the notepad, the Hamilton investigation is the main one but you have to do parts of all them to progress,the monster is the thing that urns everything cold and freezes people and things, it also makes the wolves angrier and attack, the narrator did say this in the previous episode, the narrator gives you clues all the time so it's best to always be listening, to get further in the game to the north of the village you have to find out what happened to those people (hint: the ice blocks you've been taking snaps of help) ,like the one that went through the wall, you found him already as he was the one frozen behind the shop, so you have to investigate other locations, houses to find out to get pass the ice wall. Also try and do the things it mention in your notepad e.g. find a coat to allow longer time between warming up (important) . Like so this can help!

Also you missed so much at the cabins and shacks. The steak you find you can also throw at the wolves to distract them. When says your stress levels are high, take pain killers. like so Josh sees.

Also, the main storyline continues at the doctor's house. The owner of the general store called a sick day, and you're supposed to talk to the doctor next about him. Check the journal.

Great video as always. I enjoy the attention to detail and don't mind the side quests. Maybe try to remember to take pictures, it looks like that also fills out the journal. It's a small thing but I really appreciate that you actually look at clues and read notes.

Josh I'm pretty sure the orange footprints in the photos are the footprints for "the beast" / the monster. The monster is obviously linked to ice, so makes sense that everywhere it goes there are strange icebergs, or even frozen people. Also it means that there will be wolves around those areas as the wolves follow the monster, and it makes them more aggressive. (you were told this earlier in the game).
