Josh you should place your battleships in the open not along walls, if someone hits your ship that is against a wall the opponent knows it's atleast not on the side of the wall. If the ship is in the open it could be on every side.

But if the opponent thinks the same way, they will not go for the walls an go for middles instead so they have a higher chance of hitting

Josh is playing against other sidemen/his friends, they wont think of that. Also it makes mines more useful. Lastly there isnt always place to put everything in the middle so of course some boats will end against the wall. You just have to place as many as possible in the middle, and you can always switch it up.

Loving this game Josh! One strategy you could do (I've barely play battleship so don't take my word, it's probably terrible) but you could fire in a diagonal which would remove any chance or there being a little 2 ship. Once you get the little 2 sized ships you can fire more widely. If you want to keep using the T guy you can but maybe use the one with the air strike and basically fire on one row every second place, and then use your air strike to take out a row you haven't fired at yet. Hopefully they won't to hard to understand, it is kinda hard to explain it.
