Such a timely video for me! It confirmed my decision to spend 4 days in Saas Fee with my family and just 2 in Zermatt (We were going to do just 1 day, but felt a bit packed. And staying up at the Schwarzsee hotel looked lovely, but eats up half your day to get up there in time. So an extra day there made it a bit more chill. We'd thought of doing the Iglu Dorf, but it's quite pricey and a bit of a walk from the train, which made me nervous with the weather and a young child.). Your videos are so helpful! Loved this one.

Very nice to read this! Thank you! Are you going during Winter? I love both places, fortunately, they are unique for different reasons🥰 I shall google the Schwarzsee hotel. Sounds interesting!

Thank you for this fantastic video, Djemo! I enjoyed the snow a lot because of this hot wave we have just now.

Thank you so much Elka for your nice comment. For me the snow and the sunny lush green pictures are also a welcome change, we just have rain nonstop. No weekend with sun so far since late May🙄😢

Hi! Djemo, thank you for the lovely but very interesting video! We are going to Zermatt when we get to Switzerland in September, for a few days. But…we will have to put Saas Fee on our list for another trip. Looks awesome!! Marion & Jan 😁🇨🇭❤️👍🏼

Saas Fee, in this summer plattjen cable car was closed. If you stay for one or several nights you get the Saas Card. All cable cars except the Metro you can use then for free. This is unique in Kanton Wallis as I know. For GUIDED glacier hikes I would recommend Aletsch glacier from the Aletscharena. In Saas Fee is beautiful as well for sure. This august 2024 ice cave at Mittelallalin was closed because of danger. With the Saastal card you can go also to Saas Grund taking the cable car to Kreuzboden and Hohensaas, at the Theobad glacier below the Weissmies mountain there is a very nice view to many 4000m mountain and a path with explanation and stories to each of the summits. Absolutely worth it. In August generally Saastal can be crowded with special group of orthodox jews, because they meet there for holidays. But it is interesting and the locals handle the sometimes plenty of people very well. More busses are offered if needed and cable cars as well.

Hi. Thank you so much! That's the kind of comments I really love to get here. You share a lot of useful information, which is really great; especially the Saas Card I did not know about. I also guess that the Aletsch Glacier is probably the most unique to hike on. Too bad that the ice pavilion was closed this Summer, I guess it will not remain open for another 25 years, let's hope it stays for a while. I remember the orthodox Jews in Saas-Fee. I met some in Saas-Fee in 2021, and I had a nice conversation with them. Most came from Belgium. Hohsaas is very underrated, I really love the view and that the glacier is so close. I hope overall you had a great time in the Saastal.

Thank for your this video. Visited Zermatt Dec 23 and loved it. Didnt think I will find a place that will match its charm. After some research I decided on Saas Fee as it also looks incredible. Going in 2 week and cannot wait. Someone below mentioned Saas card. Do you happen to know if thats only available in the summer?

Wie immer: fantastische Aufnahmen, professionell gefilmt und das in einer Gegend, die weltberühmt ist. Ich war leider erst einmal dort, will ich ändern. Danke und liebe Grüsse., Diana

Nice video! You covered all the unique aspects of these two places well. I would prefer Zermatt. I visited Zermatt during the summer and was fortunate enough to get a clear view of the Matterhorn. I also visited the Klein Matterhorn. I love Zermatt; it's a bit touristy, but I enjoy the vibe. I had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful and quaint "Hotel Bahnhof" right in the center of town, close to the train station. My experience visiting Zermatt was incredible, and I would love to go back. I like Saas-Fee, but I prefer Zermatt.

Hi Abdul. Thanks a lot for your nice comment and sharing your experience in Zermatt. Im glad you enjoyed a lot. I hope that you can visit the Gornergrat next time, its very nice to go up there. Also, I really hope that one day you can see Saas-Fee that has a really beautiful old town🤗

@@DjemoGraphic Thanks a lot! Yes, I missed visiting Gornergrat, and I want to add that to my next visit, and maybe Saas-Fee as well. Looking forward to it.

Hello, is it possible to make video of how to travel from ZURICH CITY CENTER to SAAS-FEE ❤❤❤
@DjemoGraphicАй бұрын
Hi Alexandra. To reach Saas-Fee, you may take the train from Zürich HB to Visp. From Visp there is a bus up to Saas-Fee. I might include this information again a bit more detailed in a future video, but not sure if a video only about how to travel there will interest many people.

I'm booked for two nights in Zermatt, on the 14th and 15th of September. Are there any sports bars in town? I've done some searching and have settled on either the Brown Cow Pub, Grizzly's Bar or a place called The North Wall.
@DjemoGraphic5 ай бұрын
Hi. That's cool. I have not visited any bars in Zermatt yet, just restaurants.

I think you forgot you hiked the Zinal glacier
@DjemoGraphic5 ай бұрын
Hi. Yes! Thats correct! Actually same for the Aletsch Glacier. I meant, I am eagerly waiting to hike on the glacier itself with crampons and a guide tied to the group by a rope 😊
Where can I have an affordable air bnb in Interlaken area , and is Foroglio safe as it was flooding there pls ?
@DjemoGraphic5 ай бұрын
Hi. For AirBnB i suggest to directly check on the platform itself. I usually book hotels. Foroglio cannot be accessed currently, the bridge is still broken
