Now this is music! Absolutely fantastic band, brilliant stuff. This song in particular resonates so much with early early Chicago when they were called Chicago Transit Authority. Let's rename this track "Take 7" lol....... I love this track, and this band is fantastic - and this is coming from a dude that basically grew up in a recording studio...... This band is right there with Jeff Beck - I could drop names but Zero7 are elite.... They're all up on the Wurlitzer jamming - kids these days don't know what a Wurlitzer is..... I love it..... Zero 7 is an elite band er "collective " it really blows my mind how great they are... What a fantastic band, I grew up around this "sound" but this band really took it to a new level.... I find myself taking out my bass and jamming with some of this stuff.... I'm a musician and I'm in awe or Zero 7......It just blows my mind how this band is not better known....

Some thoughts: Portishead, Massive Attack, Nouvelle Vague (more lounge-y than downtempo, but perhaps to your liking), "Floater" by Waldeck, "Hell Is Around The Corner" by Tricky, "2 Wicky" by Hooverphonic. Also, you might look up Grantby on KZbin. Always liked his stuff.

That's exactly what I did years ago! Zero 7 is the seed for my main station. From there I've enhanced it with many other great artist some of which this station played: Bonobo, Racoon, Am-boy, Lone, Bibio, Barcelona, Hooverphonic, Way out west, Ulrich schnauss, Leo Traumen, Raul Ramirez, Boards of Canada, Hybrid, Royksopp, Air, and Hand Polished. There have been many thumbs downs along the way but for the most part I think I've got it just right. The station is still surprising me 7 years into it.
