You know what all the comments I read about the classic rave tunes say the same thing... we experienced something that was special, something that was close to heaven or better. Nothing or nobody knows how we felt but the people that where there. I feel so blessed to have been there at that moment in time. We have a connection...all of us. peace and love to you all.

Great record , got it on vinyl How many djs out there who played this on vinyl I wonder Who mixed this in and always thought it sounded out lol ???? Never stayed in the mix , old breaks for you , natural drummers
@billB1013 жыл бұрын
Some early samplers didn't have timestretch back then, so to time in a drum break you literally had to pitch it up or down to fit the tempo, if the pitch and tempo divisions in the sampler ( in this case a Roland W30 ) weren't fine enough it sometimes meant that breaks were slightly out of time towards the end.
@patrickwenmeckers38952 жыл бұрын
With the SL you were able to adjust it slightly while mixing by using resistance on the platter…worked for me

Into my heart an air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again. A.E. Housman

Your not old, I'm 44 and still go out. The club/rave scene reached a divine level in 91/92. Nothing has touched it since and anyone who was around from that time and still goes out knows it. Even those in the 20s or 30s who watch these videos say similar. The US big stadium raves are close but a bit to commercialised and have alot of the modern image consciousness, due to social media, which wasn't around in the 90s
