It's not a minimum it's a 50 cal machine gun which can tear through bone, flesh and sometimes light armored vehicles into smithereens.

Fun fact: That gun at the beginning was a Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). A WW2 American LMG that shot 30.06 (same caliber as the M1 Garand) with a standard 20 round magazine.

The devs behind this game continue to show commitment with frequent updates. Since launch they had like 8 rounds of large patches and content upgrades. Including better textures, explosions and other graphical changes on the Quest 2. Also a ton of important AI updates. It looks to me that at launch we received the Quest 1 version with post launch updates to take advantage of the Quest 2. This approach was shared before launch by the devs on Reddit. They have to choose their battle, but a lot of video content (for the Quest 2) is not representable as a result.

One time, I thought my friend was an enemy because I'm used to playing the game solo so my friend was sitting there and shooting and I snuck up behind them (friendly fire was on by the way) and I hit him in the back of the head with my rifle and it actually killed him in the game so that was fun.

Just watching the first mission, and having played the PC version, I can definitely tell you that this is nothing like the PC version... And I'm not talking graphics. The maps are massively simplified in size and scope. The first mission segment is quite literally the space that you just start off with on PC, the house is the "same" (simpler on Quest) but inherently the same, but uh... you don't turn around and fight in the same place again on PC.

Yeah, at launch they focused on the Quest 1 and not taking advantage of the Quest 2. Obviously the PC version has better graphics and all that, but with months of updates the gab is closer with the Quest 2 version by now in nov 2021
