Nice concept. Wonder how you stake it down when the grounds froze harder'n Billy Hell.

Is this blind able to be folded up with stubble still on the sides? I always like to leave my corn field blind stubbed up. Currently using a Rogers low profile goose buster happy with it but the comfort and slanted sides for chiseled fields have me interested

Is this blind strong enough for a 330-pound hunter ? What is the maximum weight it can withstand?
@borntohunt38663 жыл бұрын
Does it fold up well once its grassed? And how much does it way fully grassed? How do you like it now that you've been able to put 4 seasons on it?
@haidendill79058 жыл бұрын
That would take a while to brush out too

Yeah but I like it is not as bad as you would think. Its a good strong blind and I think its worth it.

Now we all hunt a little different and in different places and conditions. I hunt 45+ field hunts a year and have used layout blinds for years and many different brands. I realize that delta is trying to get something unique but I wouldn't buy this thing. Here is some of the flaws that I can see right off the start. 1. Anything that relies on spikes which can get lost is a bad idea. I have purchased in the past a Banded layout blind that uses ridiculous skirting like that on the sides and the back. The spikes get lost and i can not count how many times the dogs or people step on the skirting/pegs. That blind's skirts are usually folded under the blind and Banded dropped the idea since it sounds good but in reality blows. It is the last blind out of the trailer on a hunt now. 2. The amount of stubbling required on those skirts is huge. Unless you are able to rake loose crap on it, be prepared to stubble up for 30-45 mins to get it looking good. While all blinds take time to stubble some take a lot longer. 3. No floor is a disaster. Have you ever dropped something small in the bottom of a layout blind? I have many times and have been able to recover it, worst case you will find it at the foot of your blind. A nice lawn chair like this may be nice on a nice field of grass on warm day. Try having this thing on a muddy field, putting you gear right on the muddy ground. Or on a stubble field. Just plain stupid. Save you frustration and buy a normal layout blind. Cabelas make decent ones, my man-caves are popular with our guys as well. Gimic through and through. That being said, this item would appear to have no place in my bird hunting trailer. There's a reason why no other company has gone this route me thinks.

iam sorry you purchased that that is ridiculous with the whole stake system. you wanna low profile blind get a no frame blind take about half the time to set up
@InvestorAcademyPodca8 жыл бұрын
Agreed, you need to stake it out and then it has probably 4 times the amount of grassing to cover it not to mention the incredibly high profile. What do you gain? Your butt isn't on the ground.

I agree if you want a good low low profile blind buy the Avery power hunter which I have personally a redhead layout blind and it is super low profile and I can set it up in about 6 inches of vegetation as be completely invisible
