When our people are engaged, where will they have time to think of crossing the sahara into Europe? To do what there? When we have everything; the climate, the land, the animals, and the African will.

Im so proud of you. I have half an acre sized "kibanja", and a 50by100 plot near it ... Both 20km from my home .. in Wakiso. I've got a small capital Ugx 2m .. which is constantly flaxtuation at that. Can I also start? Also all my neighbors are urbanising or maintaining subsistance gardens? .. I'm concerned that goats may stray into neighbors' garden on day .. should I wait until I sell & buy bigger area upcountry? ..

A goat eats 3kgs + 1 kg dry matter and water?
@Dwightstjohn-fo8ki4 жыл бұрын
Europe has done this for centuries. Because high quality arable land is and was always at a premium, they'd compound the cattle and bring the feed to them. In Switzerland except for the alpine short summer where they graze the Simmental, and sometimes let them into a forest/wood lot, the cattle are very large and would "punch up" the arable soil. That's why you don't see much FENCING in Switzerland. The DOWNSIDE of this is that you often see breeds with BAD FEET and short lives, as they can't range on ranchland without going lame. Basically, as your management intensifies, so does your genetic program.
