Thanks. Any shoes which are meant for snow and wet terrain....but definitely not quechua arpenaz. We found it suitable for muddy areas...but not on wet flat surfaces for sure.

There will be no snow, but a lot of rain and landslides. Try to go in November or December.

Saikat Paul Not in north sikkim as its a restricted area and close to the border. However u can go for trekking in west sikkim. Like goechela trek but go with professionals as its in a wildlife sanctuary.

Monsoon stops but rain does not . Atleast in the first week of October..

Ravi Rana You will have to take a night halt at Lachung and go here next morning. As lachung is around 5-6 hrs away from gangtok and this is 2-3 hrs from lachung. Also going to this place requires a permit and I dont think they allow visitors here in the evening.

Chelan Shah I didnt find snow on the ground. It was far off. When you go in november there are far better chances you will see on the ground.

Hey if you are talking about north sikkim package, it was around 12 K for one night stay in lachung and transportation from gangtok to lachung, yumthang and zero point and back to gangtok.
