Thank you, Steve! You're always awesome, great, and spot on! I’d love to see OptionStrat add a "roll" feature and show annualized returns of the open position. Quick question: In your opinion, what trades qualify as “No Loss Trades” after adjustments? Is this feasible for all Iron Condors or Iron Butterflies?
@OptionStratАй бұрын
to be clear, NO TRADE can start off as a no risk of loss trade, but almost ANY options trade that goes in your favor can be turned in to one over some time or some favorable movement of the stock.

Does this work when the position are at risks or only when is making profit?
@loody777ableАй бұрын
Absolutely to take profit.... no any strategy in the world have zero risk
@OptionStratАй бұрын
These adjustments are also things you can do if the position is down as well and it will bring extra premium into the trade helping to reduce loss in many cases.

Hi Steve, What is the orignal DTE set on that pairs of Iron Condor initially? Was is 60days DTE? Thanks (How did you pick the strike? was it like 30 delta on the short leg?)
@OptionStratАй бұрын
All DTE's on this trade are the same, and the strikes were picked largely from technical analysis and where I feel the stock would NOT be going.
@duytrancali6471Ай бұрын
@@OptionStrat Thank you Steve. At the beginning when you first setup/entry the Iron Condor, how many days out (DTE) do you use?
@TRS867Ай бұрын
could you do a video where an iron condor has one of the legs is in a loss ie the put credit spread side is in a losing position, what would be the best strategy to minimise most of the loss with only a few days till expiry.
@OptionStratАй бұрын
The best strategy there usually is to roll your short calls down to your short put strike creating a butterfly. This will add upside risk though, so you need to be aware of that.
