Feels like a grind. Following notes: - Wormholes are dangerous but can give nice results and mostly not crowded. Both ore and gas, before rats come in. Rats can be handled by an alpha cruiser (so fly back change ship, kill rats and back again) if anomaly is not that high of a level. - Lowsec depends on region but you will always be fair game and I try to avoide it, even if it is better payment. - HighSec ore is better in payouts for compressed ore, but is a grind. Highsec gas is rng but is jackpot if you find one spot (exploration). Have a venture specialized in gas huffing nearby. - Highsec does have Lowsec /Nullsec ore in a) Anomalies like 'Rogue Drone Asteroid' and 'Serpentis Lookout' - then we are talking isks but will take 3 hours to drain the whole site. Has a special order of things to let the site 'stay open'. b) In 0.5 systems bordering LowSec sometimes an anomalie appears with a lot of LowSec/Nullsec ore. Might be contested and is rng but extreme nice isk. The 'Border Ore' anomalies. - Higsec moon ore ninja mining aka stealing :). Is an option but you can get ganked. Nice isk. Can you get something that mines faster then a venture as an alpha. yep (but will take a lot of skill points). An Amar Apocalypse fitted with 8 turrets outperfroms a venture (yup you can fit mining lasers onto a BS). Problem is the cargo bay. You can upgrade that as well. You could even fit a few faction mods for turrets ('Wild' Miner 1 + ''ore' miner) but beware of beeing ganked for it, even in HighSec. This setup is not for beltmining because of storage capacity you will go to jetcan mining (aka jettison ore into space where everybody can pick it up...). But if you do lvl 2/3 missions, some of them have good asteroids which you can gobble up. Find such a mission and create your own secluded mining bubble where you can jettison and pick it up later. Have not looked into a similar setup for gas huffing. the fact that lowsec mining makes 5 to 10 times the amount high sec mining makes should be considered a single death is just a 5 minute setback. a single venture cargo filled with ores in low sec ore anomaly can buy you 3 ventures its still inefficient but thats just alpha mining

This seems like a great series! If you are worried about showing mining footage being "stale", then definitely do gas huffing, wormhole belts, low sec trips. It's fun watching and learning how to survive and mine smartly in those zones.

Gas huffing is more profitable but I think you need your exploration ship and skills to make that work.

Just the skills but the gas huffing skillbook is really expensive

@@mikesambelo2391 you can pay for the skill book with the first very few clouds, but finding gas sites is the thing. With scanning skills and a bonused exploration ship not a problem, just not sure how that fits into your plans. Either way, fun to watch

Focus on Gas Huffing and Maybe C3 Ratting. Im an Alpha and im living in a Wormhole with my Corporation and C3 Ratting and Gas Huffing has been The Major Money makers for me

Technically yes but every unit has more cubic meters so you can fit less of it in the venture but I'm thinking of dedicating one week to each ore type so that we can make a comparison

how is the game now?(2years ago) last i remember it was staring to be dominated by chinese groups and p2w trash, for example a mfers in a rorq with 20+ t2 miners ships eating the belts in null completly

Not bad man I enjoy it a lot, I have another character that spends a lot of time in null and there is some movement but I havent seen very big mining fleets
